Take a shot everytime Angus says "You Know"
Bonn scott had the same idea (sorry i had to)
dadebayoo
Do you want me to go to the ER?
You trying to get us killed?! XD
Take a *sip*... You'll be dead in seconds!
Angus always looked old. Even in the 80s. Still has more energy than most performers today.
I think Bon Scott was the only one who looked his age. However, like you say, they're all some of the most energetic performers ever.
And on stage he still looks the same as he did 30 years ago.
he went from looking like a little kid to looking like an old biddy within a year. I think it had something to do with him taking up smoking around that time
A friend of mine saw them in concert a few years back and said Angus was jumping around on stage like he was 20
And his name is angus YOUNG 😂
Brian and Bon are both Rock Legends.
BACK IN BLACK is just an unbelievable record, possibly the greatest Hard Rock album of them all.
+Blah Blob
That's what he said dip shit
AAAAAAAAAAAAÀAAAAAAMENNNN!!!!
NO! HIGHWAY TO HELL is better!
+Martin Dobranský But that's just not true man, EVERYONE knows Back in Black.
Ryan LeRoux
Everyone knows HIGHWAY TO HELL! It doesn't matter how much people know the album, but if the songs are better. HtH album includes Walk All Over You, which is the best rock song in all history! That's why I like it better.
Angus is still just as adorable as he was 30 years ago!
im-zosocrazy Sounds like Michael Caine
@Emma Hansson Åk 6 Grimsåsskolan I love them!
Of course, Bon Scott was awesome. And he had an edge that a lot of rock singers don't have. Brian Johnson saved AC/DC, though. And God Bless this man for it.
Official coroner report on Bon was that he drank himself to death.
Bon wrote majority of this album, After this most of their albums were flops. Few good songs here and there. Bon scott Era 80% of songs on an album were amazing, still respect Brian tho.
Brian is one of the nicest most down to earth person in rock n roll he doesn't think he is better than everybody he teats everyone good and is grateful for his and acdc fans who made them famous god bless him
It was Bon Scott who suggested Brian if anything happened to him
@@Mav_F No way? I didn't know that
Brian Johnson has an amazing ability to be in the front and yet get out of the way. No one else could have ever put their ego aside and let what happened happen. He deserves a lot of credit for this. He could not fill Bon Scott's shoes; he could not make AC/DC better. Somehow, he managed to keep a good thing going without stepping on anyone's toes. Brilliantly humble he was, and still is.
Totally agree. He does help that the band knew the Bon liked Brian's work. I saw that Bon's mom aske the boys to continue the band. They are all humble and knew they had something special. And we the fans benefit from it.
He definitely made it better though. He's the best
Brian didn’t try to be anything he wasn’t. No one could be a bigger personality than Bon. Brian is a real workman, he has that kinda vibe.
To this day, this album has one of the greatest guitar tones of all time.
Mutt Lange's finest work in my book
ACDC is my favourite rock band of all time
1. ACDC
2. Motley Crue
3. Def Leppard
1. Pink Floyd
2. Led Zeppelin
3. Guns N Roses
4. AC/DC
5. RHCP
No doubt, AC/DC is the greatest of them all.
Yeah can’t compare
Duncan Sports there is no way bon jovi is shit
back in black is the 2nd best selling album of any genre.....only thriller sold more....so yea...its the greatest hard rock album ever..
It's hard to make an argument against it
The first is thunderstruck
Vicente they said album, and also I think Back in black is better than thunderstruck
@@matthewreese7710 Of course but both are good
@@matthewreese7710 I like thunderstruck more because of how many times Ive heard back in black
Brian’s accent is my favorite
Brits are awesome
@@hudsonrichey1260 sounds scottish
@WhoDarestheMAN gamer i know i just thought he sounded scottish
@WhoDarestheMAN gamer it's a Geordie accent, but calm down mate lol
Aussie accent
Love you Gentlemen for 38 years. You all very important in my developing teenage years. Thank you.
Back in Black defined my youth in some ways
I’m only a kid BUT AC/DC ROCKS
Lol I'm only 12
I’m 14
Is it you holding a rifle in your profile picture?
I am a 47 year old kid and
I absolutely agree with you
me to 13
Words cannot describe how humble these guys are.
Back in Black is simply the best rock album of all time, it's lightning in a bottle.
Such good guys as well as great musicians.
Goddammit, Brian did his first show with Ac/Dc in Namur ?? I live only 60km away... I was 8 years old at that time and I didn't know about them.
So you're living in Belgium... I'm so glad to be away from this country.
Alan Honore
I cannot blame you...
I live only 250 km away in Germany. I was 11 years old at that time and I went to see them in 1980 here in Germany.
8th grade, I won a door prize at a dance for a record store gift certificate. When I got a ride to the store, AC/DC was my first album I ever owned. Dumb luck I guess. Still love it.
they’re so adorable somebody please protect these two at all costs we can’t lose any more legends now🥺
ALL HAIL ACDC!!!!
Some of the most likeable genuine guys. Had many great rock songs.
Back in BLACK ist the BEST album ever
Love Brian, what a social light! Angus is insane on stage but is so laid back when being interviewed! ❤️
Lots of them have onstage alter egos they are performers. Even the fans are different sometimes at shows they throw on those devil horns rock out then it's back to work the next day business as usual.
Brian Johnson - one of the greatest vocalists of rock! Noone else could have taken on the mic after Bon
Brian Johnson's vocals on Back in Black is the best rock n roll vocals ever recorded he really took the top off and brought them to the promise land
Malcolm being as sick as he has been has probally taken a toll on Angus too!
Angus and Malcolm are highly underrated for the work they do on albums. I used to watch bands try to play AC/DC covers, and they never sounded close to the real thing.
Many guitar players, like me, didn't understand how they wrote different, complimentary guitar parts that sounded like one guitar.
We usually botched, or didn't figure out what Malcolm was doing.
Brian Johnson - one of the greatest vocalists of rock - and "Back In Black" is one of the, if not THE greatest hard rock album of all time! Noone else could have taken on the mic after Bon, and he would have been so proud of the music they put out
Brian Johnson sounds like groundskeeper Willie
+Belly Boy Completely wrong area, mate. Willie's supposed to be from the Orkney Islands right up in the north of Scotland. Brian's from Gateshead in the north of England.
+BuzzsawMoviesLtd wrong Newcastle mate 😂 Angus Malcolm and bon are originally Scottish
And you sound like a silly goose. Oh wait...
I am sure the Scots would like to make all the North Englanders Scots.
That'a your typical Geordie accent. It is more of a countryside variant than the Newcastle variant. It can be confused with some Scottish accents, but a Brit can tell it is a northern Engish accent rather than a Scottish accent.
How easily one could walk by and never realize they just walked by a couple legends.
R.I.P Malcolm Young😢
can you imagine if anyone filmed that 1st show?
Thank you AC/DC
I quit listening to AC/DC a long time ago, but I've always admired them for their energy, creativity and drive, but specially their humility. These guys are not rock stars; they are incredibly talented folks who love what they do and remain just as damn good in their hearts as they were back in the days of their youth. God bless them.
These guys love who they are and they love their band. Thats why they rule.
Can't believe Brian had to quit!
+Kane Dosser he didnt quit hes just not doing the shows anymore
he is still doing studio albums, he just can't preform live
Might be something within the relationship that he is not the singer anymore. More to it than going deaf I think.
ScragNath Were there really drama around when he left?
Faraae he had hearing problems look it up
Two absolute legends
Alot of rock bands had a chance to be the best gnr, metallica, korn, montely crew. But 1 stood alone never sold out and stood the test of time. Ac/dc best ever hands down.
Mettalica aint rock
'Back In Black' was one of those musical moments that may never be seen again. A band that was reaching its peak talent wise, a producer who could pull greatness out that talent, a new singer who was hungry for a second chance at the big time. 'Back In Black' was the absolute perfect storm waiting to happen.
I'm lucky enough to be one of those that was waiting on the "new album" and heard Brian on said "new album". After listening to all the other previous Bon Scott albums, I had all of them of course, then heard about Bon passing. Then Back in Black came out. Changed my life.
Black in Back was a great post-Bon Scott era album.
It's a great AC/DC album, not just post-Bon era. Both Brian and Bon had multiple good albums.
Agreed.
Bon was the greatest!
Sad part is he probably wrote half that album.
lol even the interview assumes they just recorded the album there. No, they supposedly wrote it all too in a couple of weeks.
Never heard of it...
LEGENDS
I was the Live Nation tour rep on the European leg of their Black Ice tour and I’ve gotta tell you these fellas are absolutely exactly as you see here. I spent hours talking and joking with Brian. Marvellous memories of taking a long walk around Barcelona.
I remember buying back in black, we were all freaking out when bon Scott died and wondered how the new album would be. When we listened to the new record in my first apartment we were blown away! we knew ac/DC wasn't going anywhere. Great times!
Two of the most incredible artists of all time! Fan for decades! Early work with Bon was awesome! Thank You.
Great Questions! I love you ACDC!
Really nice to read positive text about Brian , he put acdc where it is now an amazing man and a amazing band , I hope people remember him for what HE did
I was 15 the summer BIB was released. It was everywhere. It is the primary part of the soundtrack of every ‘bush party’ I went to in those years. I started listening to AC/DC’s back catalogue afterwards. While I dearly wish I had been able to see them when Bon Scott was lead singer but I have seen them half a dozen times since first seeing them on their ‘Who Made Who’ tour in 1986. They always kick ass.
Very few people can come in and try to fill the void left by a legend and become a legend in their own right. Brian Johnson is one such man.
I think what might have made it easier was the fact Bon Scott had died. He hadn't quit the band, there was no acrimony; just tragedy. Replacing the lead vocalist can be a very difficult job and fortunately AC/DC got it right.
These guys recorded with Mutt when Mutt was Mutt. Brian brought something to the band vocally no one can replicate . And keep his throat in tact all these years. He sings the same way a Marshall stack sings. The look on his face when he said he heard the track the first time after studio is a real emotion
The most humble legends in rock you'll ever meet.
Brian seems like a genuine and kind person. You can tell those moments meant a lot to him.
Yes! He told the story about how he got to ACDC late in life, and couldnt believe he had a chance with this huge band, so in a sense he will always have the feeling of a normal person who is aware of how things might have not work out
Legends. Brian coming into the band and just... killing it on Back in Black, is to me, the story of Rock n Roll! These guys are the greatest, and what it's all about.
I think he wrote "All night long"
I wish I could hang with these two for a night. I've loved AC/DC since some of my earliest memories. These guys seem like the coolest guys in rock. Legends!
When you listened to AC/DC you couldn’t help bouncing you r head up and down jumping around playing air guitar. You sure got your exercise for the day. 😁
Back in black is just soooo amazing thank you ac dc 🙌 🙏🤘
Still the best live gig I ever saw 1983 Dublin, Ireland, in the RDS.. Absolutely amazing gig... First song hells bells... Wow.. 4days later my ears were still ringing... They also had 2 massive cannons for those about to rock.. FIRE.. BOOM shook the whole place,,, never forget it... At close to the end Angus came out at the back of the stadium on some guys shoulders and I got pushed right on top of him... Best Rock gig ever....fantastic energy all night... RIP Malcolm..
I was so lucky to be introduced to AC/DC back in the 80's at a rocking, awesome nightclub called Hammerjacks in Baltimore, Md!! The owner loved AC/DC and he would blast all their songs through their fantastic speaker system throughout their large concert hall and nigtclub!!
Hey dude, u mean on Russell St? Owned by Lou? Got torn down in the late 90's...for a f'en parking lot...big old brick building... I was there, no big hair or things like that, but still, it was a great place!
@@kirk4086 Yes, that's the place!! I loved it and spent alot of time there!!
AC/DC has raw talent, handsome and are legends.
Still greatfull for being in this generation, 1980 was an explosion of music with Back in Black and Blizzard of Oz coming out. Fueled our parties night after night and "Have a Drink on Me brings me back to that time everytime I hear it. 💥🎸🔊🎤🥃🍻
two fucking rock stars for real!!!!!!!!!!!!! cheers boys
Beautiful interview, they say the best things happen quickly and Brian's experience with the band's 1st recording was a blur because soo much goodness came out they didn't know what to expect and here we are over 40 years later still raving about the album 🤟🤟🎶
I did 3 gigs as a tech with a support band in the summer of 1980... First tour with Brian..... Back in Black.....Nicest guys you will ever meet... Best str8 ahead rock band ever
Very down to earth too. Angus lives in a house in a Dutch town.
I love ACDC 😍MY FAVOURITE BAND
You dont see Angus off stage as much as Brian on these videos. When he is on stage he goes crazy but off stage he sees kind of shy
Lots of them have a separate stage persona he doesn't walk the streets in his devil horns and school boy uniform everyday either. It's SHOWBUSINESS so it's a show with stage costumes and embellished characters.
Wish I still had Bonn Scott recording of back in black ! You can tell Bonn had a lot to do with that album
There’s a bunch of guys that have never forgotten or taken for granted what they have become. 👍🏼🇨🇦
Brian Johnson's accent with that growl. ❤️❤️❤️
Happy birthday back in black!
O melhor rock que já existiu! Lendários ac/dc ⚡🤘
What a great interview, amazing questions! One thing that gets me is....just how pure 💯 Brian is!,
I saw them in Cincinnati in the early 80s ,Angus never stopped moving the whole show or maybe that was how high I was, never the less it was a great show. The show started with a huge gold bell and of course Hell Bells.
Legends
AC DC is one of the best Damn bands in the world

You guys are magic !!!
Seeing angus talk it’s like seeing the head of People in Tom and Jerry
“You know...I guess at the time you don’t know, you know.”
Absolutely brilliant!!! Angus Young
Brian has such cool voice love it
Brian is 5'4 and Angus is 5'2... Proof that great things come in small packages
I met Brian and Cliff about ten years ago in a bar in Atlanta. Brian was truly a cool guy to talk to. And he's most definitely in the 5'4" range.
They forgot to grow.
I know it’s so ly an inch but Brian is 5ft 5
Rock and roll
Agnus on stage: Wild, crazy, and fun to watch
Agnus in an interview: Calm

I love that song. I've heard it so many movies.
The guys rock harder than today's musicians
Hell yeah!! Just their style!!
Rockstars? Today? Who??? 😂
Ted Nugent said it best: Godspeed all things AC/DC!
One of the greatest albums of all time! Definitely on my deserted island list!👍🏼
Great interview
