Dammm I've never clicked so fast. Been literally waiting to hear this man speak for the last 23 years I've skated. Thanks for making this happen. Some constructive criticism - I understand youve got to tread carefully around certain topics but he did start to open up about his beliefs and who he is at certain points - with womens rights, animals, tv, death. You could have explored these things more with the right questions. Maybe like "can you tell us more about that?" "I'd love to hear more, where did you develop these ideas?". Hope that helps and massive shout out to PJ. He seems so calm, wise and obviously one of the best skaters ever.

Two of my absolute favorites Skaters who pushed the envelope of boundaries to what is possible on a Skateboard. And they looked Damn good while doing it! Danny and PJ along with Tom Penny and Guy Mariano never ever failed to get me stoked to get out and spend the day into the night just skating and encountering all different personalities in life. Most good and some not so.. Thank you Pj and Danny , for being the flame to many skaters fuses. Fantastic interviewer Danny! And Fantastic interview PJ! ❤❤

I was at the Delux demo in San Antonio. The chris culture warehouse. Bob burnquist gave me my first taste of beer at that demo. He was on antihero then and had an antihero tramp stamp. Lol Never had another sip of mickeys since then. Danny fuckn ripped! He did a footplant finger flip on the volcano, that is what I heard skaters call it. It was amazing. Danny G and Forest are San Antonio legends. Also, that ceiling ride Danny did at the I-10 ditch is epic. Peace

He is so deserving of the peace and continued growth he speaks to, as well as a contract at éS, the Penny, Muska, Saari, and Creager recruitments and shoe reissues need a Ladd in there!

@@moratin17 I don't think he would stop the interview or leave if he was asked a question/s he didn't want to answer. If he was asked a question/s he didn't want to answer I think he would just give a brief, general and or superficial answer or a bum steer, both of which I think he did to a degree. He seemed friendly, pleasant and chill enough about it. I think he's a somewhat private and reserved person and or doesn't like and want attention and he's selective about what he says. He may be an introvert too. Maybe he didn't answer some questions like e.g. 'Carroll or Howard?' and others like that maybe because he thought the questions were competitive, polarizing, divisive or something and or he didn't want to favour anyone because he likes and respects them all and he wanted to be nice and respectful and didn't want to show any favouritism. He may not have had any favourites or preferences. Maybe he also didn't want to say anything that might offend people. Maybe he didn't answer some questions because he's humble and didn't want to sound as if he's bragging. Since it seems rare and perhaps difficult to get an interview with him, I say if you have the chance to interview PJ, don't hold back. As long as there's nothing wrong with your questions there's no harm in asking him. Let him decide what and how he wants to answer, which he did. He may have divulged more information about himself and his life if he was asked more, albeit perhaps reluctantly.
