- Taskmaster surprisingly did not disappoint me in the slightest, sure I would have loved to see Tony Masters being the hired mercenary with actual cappabilities to perfectly mimic the fighting styles of pretty much every single hero in the MCU, at the end of the day it doesn't really matter
Let's be honest here for a couple of seconds, if the MCU Taskmaster was in fact Anthony Masters, people would still complain about the suit, the screen time, the nerfed power and the list goes on.
About the actual music for the character, there are several missing tracks from the movie in the official soundtrack (the bridge fight, the unmask scene for example) if these missing pieces ever get released in high quality I'll update this video with them

(After he gets defeated)

Ross: "Antonio Masters. Former SHIELD agent also known as Taskmaster. Nice to see SHIELD's test subject after Steve Rogers back again."
Masters: "Yeah, yeah, put in sock it Ross."
(Seeing Dreykov for the first time)
Taskmaster: "You interrupted my class, that's very rude. I should write you a pink slip to sent you to the principal's office."
Dreykov: "We got a stray. She ran."
Taskmaster: "Which one..?"
Dreykov: "Yelena"
Taskmaster: "Yelena huh ? A pitty.. she was my best student. My students need new time out rules."
Dreykov: "Get it back. The Red Mist, eliminate anyone. Stay in the shadows."
Taskmaster: "Right. You pay me to. Fine. Long as I kill her. And her sister.. I'll do her for free."

The movie version was not that bad but I admit the comics version is better ...

But the theme for this character is one the greatest theme of all the MCU films.
Should have known marvel would under deliver then again maybe the real taskmaster will show up eventually

The movie Taskmaster was a badass character, the problem was that they just weren't really Taskmaster. They had the name, outfit and abilities, but no personality. A key part of Taskmaster's charm in the comics is his personality.
Spider-Man and Black Widow vs Taskmaster. This Taskmaster would be annoyed by Tom Holland’s Spider-Man to the point where They would have really good dialogue
(0:38 - 2:08/3:43 - 4:18) If you speed it up to 1.8x, it kind of sounds like the Red Guardian vs Taskmaster theme.

I really hope they go the mercenary route with her and not "oh my gosh I'm gonna do good now"
@@unorthodox3034 No, they're pretty clearly setting her up to be an antagonist of some kind in the future. They have some kind of plan for her since they deleted a scene and changed things so Taskmaster went free instead of being captured. Perhaps she'll also join the Dark Avengers, though I think that's unlikely unless Yelena betrays them.
I thought Taskmaster was cool, can't wait to see her in Thunderbolts. 😊
