- Welcome to Krissys Over The Mountain Crochet and Crafts. I want to show you a unique crochet cluster stitch, that I learned how to do, in the early 1980's using a crochet pattern written by Alice Fowler. You can read more about her at this blog post.
The video show you how the stitch looks in three more yarn weights. you will see 4 swatches in total, using this crochet stitch.
1. The video demonstration uses a (4) worsted weight yarn, using an J-6.00mm crochet hook.
2. You will also see a swatch using a (3). I used an F-4.00mm crochet hook and Mandala Sparkle yarn was used.
3. There is also a (1) swatch using a D-3.00mm in Lion Brand Summer Nights yarn.
4. The chunky (6) swatch uses an N-10.00mm Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick yarn was used.
You can read more about my journey using this crochet stitch at:

This stitch is so pretty. It would be beautiful on so many projects. I can’t wait to use it. Thank you for the detailed instructions. 😁
Thank you. It is a beautiful stitch...I think this would be pretty on a border.
This is a lovely piece! It looks to be delicate even though she's using yarn!
Thank you. It is delicate...it is so sweet in fingering weight yarn. I am thinking of a project that uses this stitch and a (1) fingering weight yarn.
Very nice pattern!!!
Thank you Cindy!
