Courseplay Mode on the Silo is indeed a PC feature Mr Sealy P. It enables the PC players using the Courseplay Mod to put the Silo into the simple operating mode like normal silos on every other map, so that the Courseplay AI workers can just drive up and unload or fill from the silo, without needing to do all that Wet Bin/Dry Bin Stuff which obviously is beyond the capability of the mod. So in Courseplay Mode the Silo will just behave like any regular silo, drive up and tip, drive up and L3 to fill empty trailers etc.
for some strange reason I have the urge to sell all the JD equipment and make this a Case farm 😂🤣. Great vid as always definitely been looking forward to this being on PS
Thanks for the tour Sealy P 👍 you can actually transfer grain from wet/dry bin in the shed just unload grain to the wet bin then head inside to the IVP box hold R1 press X enter the vehicle/IVP box and press L3 and also shout out to the modders Mappers Paradise and Subbie for puttin in the work to get this to console players👊

Another fine map tour MSp. I’m glad the issues were addressed and the map was finally released for all platforms. A little background knowledge is that the pig farm is named after Canadian Farmer Donnie. He has a YT channel and was quite involved with MP for the Welker’s Farm map as well as this one. I thought that was a nice touch by the map developers. Cheers
Thanks for the review , the silo is actually easier than it appears. Play around with it you’ll see you can load wet/dry , unload wet/dry from that front panel into trailer right there. And transfer wet to dry in shed press right bumper to allow transfer then enter vehicle (shed) to choose
It's caused a lot of confusion it's not like the mod came with an explanation of how to operate the silos Mappers came out with a video of how to use it.
i'm glad you zoomed in on the course play symbol; course play is a PC only feature where your vehicle ie: grain truck n trailer will automatically drive from the field to the silo when the tipper is full.
I just looked on mappers paradise and so far he is working on slot count which he has taken 160 slots from the 1151 and he kows about some of the sell points not working and is in the process of fixing issues
Transfer from wet to dry does work. Enter the shed. Go to the left side from the display screen until R1 appears. Then keep pushing R1 and push X. Transfer wet->dry. The display lights up after a few seconds and you hear the sound of the dryer starting. Anywhere left from the display in the shed works and push “square button” enter vehicle. Then push L3, select your crop and push X start loading.
Yes Mr. SealyP that silo you where questioning is a separate silo you can dump into for instance if the price is going up and you don't want to sell yet and take it out drive around corner and dump when price is right!
That silo is for the second farm, the other is a sell point. The Lowery CHS sell point I could not get it to work. the green light locator is on the store but I think the sell point is across the rail road tracks. either of them wouldn't work. So only one sell point for now. The high slot count is the price you pay for John Deere eq. ! Great review !
And I thought Chellington Valley had a high slot count! I think this should be your next Lets Play, as an experiment to see if it really is feasible to farm a map with that high a slot usage.
Looks like a fun map to play , big open areas , i watch some millenial farmer on youtube but the competition on maps lately is fierce and high slot count does not entice . Well done for getting it released onto console 👍
I was getting bored of my other maps and I wasn't really happy with the maps I downloaded and so I started this one up and I wasn't paying attention to DJ when he did his map tour or when he explained on the silo and now that I watched you I can at least start my silo, I've been sitting here for a few minutes trying to figure that out and it took UA-cam to figure it out thank you Mr Sealyp. It is also amazing map I cannot believe I didn't download this right away.
Sorry MrP. With the SLOT COUNT being 1152 out of 1299 I will not play this map. This should have been a PC only map due to its size. For me, you can tell Giants great job. They sent console players a map that we cannot play. It’s a shame but as I always say, it is what it is. If I rate it I’ll give it a 1 out of 5 stars for the reasons I listed.
Cannot play? Speak for yourself. Ive had no issue with slots and im running modded jds. Its over 1200 but i have what i need. Shaming a great map over your own problem is sad. 1 out 5 foh. And btw mappers already stated they have reduced the count by 160 for an update.
@@johnkillian4874 I disagree. Slot count is way too high. It is "possible" to play for sure. But lag will be a problem. Wait until you try logging or have a lot of bales, a twitchy disaster will ensue. The slot count is a problem shared by ALL console players and every mod maker recognizes this. Some just don't care or are not competent at compression. Not shaming for stating the truth.

@@cornebotha1911 If it still works for you, that's awesome. I really like the Griffen map. I'm on PS4 pro. It is almost brand new and works perfectly. I did about 4 hours of testing trying to make it work. The slots are, I believe, listed wrong. Basically, it's not possible to have a functioning map at less than 100 slots. At 700 slots used, it started lagging then after 800 slots the lag got so bad it was like playing in slow motion. Whenever I accepted a contract, blue screen. When I tried to purchase a piece of land after 800 slots, blue screen. I tried many variations with no mods, very few mods, with and without seasons, all 3 starting modes,(new farmer, etc.) I've seen a lot of comments on other videos about it and on forums. It has been a problem with mostly PS4 and Xbox One. The new consoles could probably handle 5000 slots if it were possible.

Also the entrance for the island 🏝️ is about the middle of feild 11. If you drive on edge of water a wooden bridge underwater will appear and Zach will say "Ah I see you found the entrance to my getaway island!"
Course play is for pc. You can set up a course for the tractors to take the crop from the field to the bin. Course play on the bin allows it so you don't have to go turn it on every time.

You can transfer from wet bin to dry bins. Go into the little shed, don't enter the conveyor but instead press R1/RB and then select the "transfer wet to dry" And the dryer control panel lights up. Then enter the conveyor and hit L3 and it'll will start up the dryer and start transferring.
I'm pretty sure if you hit the R1 button in the shed it gives the transfer from wet to dry option, only thing I found the control panel in the shed would do
Course play mode is for pc I still have the map installed from before it got taken off the mod hub, I use it with the course play mod, it let's the truck unload without actually going to activate the system

So on the bins the dryer control does work, you have to do the load wet bin dump into the auger then you can go to the dryer control box an you can transfer from wet to dry but you still get the dryer animation of the dust outside. An yeah the course play mode is a PC thing only as it's a scripted mod
I believe you can go over the slot.... I'm well over the slot count atm and have loads of equipment...but there must be point where it cuts off. My guess it not actually counting some of the mods as slots even though it shows.
What truly annoys me about giant’s game is when driving along is how middle ground ‘creeps’ into view. That doesn’t happen on racing games. Giant needs to either UPDATE their ENGINE or trash it and use someone else’s.
If you followed the game from 17 to 19 youd know they said the engine is stretched to its limits. They probably are using a new engine in the next version hence no release this just gone oct/nov like normal

Why is John Deere always higher when it comes to slots? Anybody know why? A fine line between overly complicated and realistic. The silo system belongs to the first category. “It’s time for a montaaage” and the fingersnap. Very powerful snap.
Two main reasons for JD slots being high. Nothing to do with the colors. It's all about detail. Most other brands have less visual detail because of the inner workings are mostly hidden by covers. The most popular JD equipment has exposed engines, hoses, steering linkages, etc. To make a JD look "realistic" takes way more work on details. Also, file compression is done many different ways most mod makers that are masters at file compression have little interest in John Deere equipment. A few JD mods have achieved low slots, so it is possible.
Some body said you Can dry simulation you unload wet corn then go back in the building and press R1. It simulation of drying corn it doesn't really dry it tho
Great map imo, except for the vehicles suddenly steering themselves! Also I can tip at the Lowry grain silos, it’s tags the shop as the sell point but when you go to the silo dump area there’s no trigger to tip? It probably me being stupid! Any help appreciated 👍🏻
Oh wait maybe they did try once now I remember something about them saying it's couldn't be released on console so they were going to split it up into separate mods for you to build your own map

It is a big map whit mutch custom in it so but I think gients need to give use more mod space and for next game / update make it so ps5 series X version can have 4x maps because I think the consoles can run it
How do I get my MN cow pasture clean? I’ve ran a front loader over the whole concrete pad and got the manure that was there but still only showing cleanliness of 83% on ps4

: I'm playing on ps4 and downloaded the Millennial Farmers Map! I sold everything so I could get my slot count down as low as possible! Now the big problem I'm having is now I'm trying to buy and place animal pens! When buying and placing only two animal pens, it says I have to sell animal pens to get another! All I have so far is 1 horse pen and 1 cow pen, remember I sold everything and all pens when I first opened the map! Why can't I have all 5 animal pens now? PLEASE HELP......
Is this Zach the character name or the actor who plays the character...I don't watch fake reality on any screens. Unless this turns out to be one...but I doubt it. I just don't watch other people's lives that I don't know.

You can transfer from wet to dry by entering vehicle inside the shed r1+l3

Maby the map modder can work with the modder from griffen indiana to reduce the slot count
Except Griffen Indiana is broken and unplayable. The low slot count won't stay. It will be back to normal with an update.

If u load wet solo I go in the shed and it works and it goes though the dryer
My biggest issue is that I cannot get the cattle farm to accept feed. Just lost 200 head of cattle because the feed trigger won’t work

That was added for PC so that CP would be able to see the dump trigger so it would dump without activating the grain leg

The Course Play is for PC only it is on there so you can run you trucks there and it will stay on
Oh wait maybe they did try once now I remember something about them saying it's couldn't be released on console so they were going to split it up into separate mods for you to build your own map

Sucks don't it. It doesn't happen very often, but when it does pc players are like what!!! Lol I'm sure pc's map is going to be crazy and blow console map away.

Also if you play with seasons enabled at least on Xbox your slot count is 1182/1299 and it's in the red making it hard to read

@@MrSealyp that is good they know it, and what i have seen on ther FB they are working on a update and reduce the slots to, but i have no problem with slots. It is a big map whit mutch custom in it so but I think gients need to give use more mod space and for next game / update make it so ps5 series X version can have 4x maps because I think the consoles can run it

In the part that’s off the map, do you have access to the grass lands there to turn them into extra fields?

: I'm playing on ps4 and downloaded the Millennial Farmers Map! I sold everything so I could get my slot count down as low as possible! Now the big problem I'm having is now I'm trying to buy and place animal pens! When buying and placing only two animal pens, it says I have to sell animal pens to get another! All I have so far is 1 horse pen and 1 cow pen, remember I sold everything and all pens when I first opened the map! Why can't I have all 5 animal pens now? PLEASE HELP......

If you go the coordinates 444, 1286 you’ll find the entrance to the island.

Is this Zach the character name or the actor who plays the character...I don't watch fake reality on any screens. Unless this turns out to be one...but I doubt it. I just don't watch other people's lives that I don't know.

Started to play the map and enjoy it so far. However can't find the trigger for the grass feed for the cow pin. Anybody else have the same problem.

I do have another question about the eureka map and the factory pack. Since the update the map and factory pack won't work. Do you know if the modder plans on updating that map.
