Having studied in UP I can say there are a lot of people like him but there are also people who are so nice and calm and do not swear one bit, they come from humble backgrounds and are focused on achieving something for them and consequently their families. Prateek Sharma I have lived in both eastern and western UP. And I can confirm the dialect and accent is somewhat closer to that of eastern UP. However, NCR is no different. Their language is even more rough. I don't want to stereotype them(which i already did), but I do find their accent attracting.

Anamika Agnihotri I was also born in UP did my schooling there,did my graduation from Delhi and have worked in Bangalore and currently working in Mumbai.Trust me UP people have spoiled the culture everywhere whether its Delhi,Bangalore or Mumbai. Most of the crimes done in Delhi were by people from UP or Haryana (border). In Mumbai most of them work as auto driver and they are always ready to make your life hell. Though they have fixed meters here in Autos still as soon as you come out of Airport,they say will not go by meter and ask huge amount M not saying people from other states are not bad,as in Chennai they do the same to north Indian but this tendency of crime and making profit of somebody's situation is most dominant in them About law and order you have already said,its not about the place,its about the thinking of people I have seen girls in shorts and party dresses till late nights in Mumbai that too alone but I can't imagine that even in Lucknow, Kanpur,Allahabad,Varanasi or Meerut( All major cities of UP personally have been to these places) Although I don't agree completely with what they have shown but I really think people from UP have to change their mentality so that people from other state give them respect

I agree some of its the bitter truth but the way it has been depicted is sad. The accent is totally from Purvanchal. The IAS and collector more refers to Purvanchal. It's just not how UP as whole is. I liked the video, its very good [like all others from you guys]. However, I object to just one scene where the guy holds the girl on the street. I am from Kanpur and I have not seen this happening [although every other thing in the video is very real]. I would request, as I can only request you to scrap that particular scene. Please consider that your videos are watched by the whole country [and even outside country]. While its good to make fun of oneself and laugh on it, the act where a guy molests a girl on the road sends out a very negative image of the state. Prateek Sharma I have lived in both eastern and western UP. And I can confirm the dialect and accent is somewhat closer to that of eastern UP. However, NCR is no different. Their language is even more rough.

To the creators of this video - Don't feel bad because of all the hate and negativity around you. People these days have been conditioned to be too sensitive about everything and are hurt very easily. What you have portrayed is 100% correct. This is exactly how the majority of people in UP are.

#BeingIndian you people have probably lost it this time. Im a person from UP, did my higher studies in Maharashtra, stayed with almost every community across India and i can definitely say what you people have depicted is entirely a misconception and a brain child of probably a mumbaikar.
Ill try to be specific
1. First and foremost the tone is not perfectly Upite It changes to bihari at least twice in the video.
2. Most of the descriptions are not true for any Up person, no matter how much u try to justify it, they are just wayward.
3. Mockery is good, but this man holding the hand of a lady on road didn't seem funny at all.
4. If you think Up people are molesters, come ill show u the beautiful people from mumbai and what they do on the streets.
5. This tone is not at all spoken in majority of UP and thus the mass of people cannot even relate to your video.
6. I must agree that i did laugh at points in the video, they were brilliantly portrayed, but the turnoffs were way too many.
I love being mocked and i was literally waiting for this video, was thinking why is it taking #beingindian so long to make one for UP. Its human nature to laugh at ones one description the most, an indian will laugh the hardest when a foreigner will enact him, but this one has fallen straight on its face.

I am from Kanpur and I have not seen this happening [although every other thing in the video is very real]. I would request, as I can only request you to scrap that particular scene. Please consider that your videos are watched by the whole country [and even outside country].
