Confidential Informing or "snitching" catches a bad rap in all aspects of life; especially prison. But without it, things would be a lot less safe. The most important thing is to keep the informant's name completely confidential.
@@the0n3n0n1y 😱 We remember there were two different kinds they could buy. One was more expensive than the other. It seemed expensive to us because most of the teens we were filming with didn’t have much/any money. Thankfully, it usually turned out that one teen could afford it and was happy to share the tv time with his cellie.
@@CalamariProductions I never knew you guys replied to comments also you guys are one of the only people who cover juvenile detention centers like I can't find any other channel that covers those places

@Eric S - well said. Hope you've had a good weekend!
I’ve never snitched in prison, but to be fair I’ve never been to prison.
How much is it to buy a TV in there
@Stewart McInroy - if we recall, it wasn't cheap at that time ... appx $125-$150 if we remember correctly.
That’s kinda cheap. It runs like 280-300+
@@CalamariProductions Not that much considering the circumstances.
@@CalamariProductions now they have the see through flat screens a little under $200...

These prison shakedowns must be really hard on the kids! I think it is time for a prison reform
Why they give them a window to the outside but blot out the majority of it? And why are these old tapes not being released until now?
Their looking for a weapon when they really need to pay more attention and figure out what's really going on
