Just made this. Absolutely lovely.. Thanks Lenny. I don’t have one of those ‘flame throwers’ !! so the only change was to caramelise the sugar in a saucepan and add on top of the brûlée mixture once had cooled and worked as well. Making quite a few of your recipes.
Great dessert! Just a small note: the order of the milk and cream are switched. You say you are adding the milk but you are actually adding the cream and vice versa (the thickness of the liquids give it away).
Your chocolate cream brûlée looks very yummy! I’ve never tasted a chocolate one before. I made lots of cream brûlée’s for deserts last month ( Dec) my new favorite way to make them is using my sou vide. So easy, I made them in 8 ounce wide mouth canning jars using canning lids. They seal and will last up to two weeks in the fridge. ( although mine got eaten way before that) I am going to make your chocolate cream brûlées soon!
