Sadly, there are not many doctors that is able to treat people with autism that have sensory issues. I have Aspergers and struggle with gagging at the dentist and light sensory issues at the eye doctor. Guess what! I aged out of my parents medical insurance recently and now cannot go to the same dentist and eye doctor I have been going to since I was a kid because they don't accept my new insurance! It ridiculous because no person with a disability should have to lose their doctors that understand them.

I was vacationing in NC and in the hotels lobby I meet a woman in the wheelchair. It was right after Thanksgiving. I offered her a pair of socks bc she was cold. She was missing one leg and I didn’t notice till she pointed to her blanket on her lap. Homeless Center was full, so they put her in the hotel. She asked me to push her wheelchair to get food from cafeteria, she was in pain and so tired. She looked at drinking water cooler but no money to pay. In her room I opened her refrigerator and there was a open can of tuna with plastic spoon in it. I gave her fresh chicken salad, bread, fruit, pop, water, perfume, jewelry. I covered her in her bed and that’s how I found her in the morning. She was just tired with hurting soul. She was mentally and physically abused by her boyfriend. I can’t imagine what she experienced in her life. I had to go back home to Indiana. She is just one of those poor neglected people, what is our Government doing for her? I always wonder what happened to her? Women like that I would always help.Where is that person that opened my eyes to see our Citizens pain and sorrow? Good luck my friend we are gonna meet again and no more tuna,God promised.Be safe everybody.

the only right low income people who need help due to disabilities has is the right to die from all the wonderful help tax dollars provide for us...i have had numerous criminal acts committed against me and no one will do a damn thing to stop the abuse.

It does no good to have insurance when you can't get treatment. I think it's a plot to weed out the unhealthy and old.

It's a combination of disability, race and gender. Black women get mistreated at the doctor a lot more, but in fact most seriously disabled people have experiences of dehumanising treatment from medical professionals.

This needs to be changed soon! Secure our Southern border and focus on US citizens that need help instead of helping illegals!

If you weigh 300 pounds and have a wheelchair don't tell me you're disabled until you stop piging out.
