I’m so excited to try more of the food booths this year! Last year I only went once and really was “go go go” all night; but I fueled up at TLOU booth and everything was so so good there. I have FFP this time around so I hope to try something from a different booth each time!
Smart choice! Give yourself a few days, plus the houses change so much from night to night, and as the cast gets comfortable in their roles! I'm hoping we have some great food this year with the themes we have! Still hoping they do Ghostbusters in Sting Alley as well, that Last of Us food section was SOOO cool last year 😊

Only a few! I've watched so many videos online (we lived in Illinois and never made it down for the event). So now that we're here, we're able to finally attend, and go quite often! Haha 😊
Stay safe in that kinda heat, liquid IV helps to stay hydrated. So in the swanp scare zone. the gators probably are eating ppl. But those hanging baskets are actually fish baskets. When you catch a fish you can put them in it and put it back in the water so they stay alive longer. I love they also put a lot of those pieces in that zone. I grew up with a lot of those things like cat tails, the fish trap, and the wash boards. To me this zone is the best
I brought half of a gatorade for some electrolytes and I went through it in the first like 20 minutes LOL, I was like woops! Are they for fish?? I recognize them, wasn't sure what kind of capture device it totally was. I imagine those gators are having a snack underneath the tarp haha 🐊 I think a lot of people are really loving the swamp zone, so I'm hoping the costumes deliver, too!
@Dillon.Thomas dang you went through that fast. Yea gotta keep those electrolytes up, don't wanna pass out or get sun sick. It can be easy to do in those temps, has happed to me before. I thought because im from south alabama the heat wouldnt get me so bad but i was wrong.
Yep those baskets are for fish you catch (I grew up using them) I mean maybe if it had smaller holes you could put crawfish in em but I never did.
Haha yea they are havjng a nice snack. Even though we aren't gonna get to go i hope the costumes kill it because we love watching the videos to see them.
@@artemiswild15 Ya, it was soooo hot that day LOL, I just chugged it. And refilled my water bottle I think 3 times throughout the park. So I was staying hydrated, but it was rough. Hopefully we can provide some great POV's and such throughout the scarezones and such this year! Let's hope for a fun year, when are you going to be making a return??
@Dillon.Thomas haha good glad your staying hydrated. I'm sure you will have great POVs. We will be back down there from Nov 20-24th in thr parks so right after HHN but least we will get to see the Christmas lights which honestly is my favorite time. Return for HHN probably in a couple years after epic opens

Finally had some time to sit and watch your vids - lol. Been busy moving dirt and digging up bones. On way to Colorado Sat., and then home to HHN! EXCITED! I see 3.8 - only 1K to go!
Wow - big change just at the entrance. LOL - Insidious, the food booth. Sounds like the next chapter! All the food booths look amazing - they really did a great job. Those two booths could be related (The Ghost Busters and Ivans) as Ivan (Rightman?) and later his son, produced the GB movies. Torture Faire looks amazing
Agreed the alley would have been an awesome place for GB booths, and The Last of Us was so well themed and was definitely a favorite.
Fun fact in case you didn't know: The Purge began as an experiment in Staten Island, NY and then went nationwide when it proved to be successful.
Swamp area looks AMAZING - all they need do is throw a real alligator or two in there for full effect! LOL.
Cattails - never ate them, but we used to burn them like torches.

Always on the move! LOL. When do you settle back down for awhile?? When you come home for HHN are you home for good? We are at 3.8k right now! It still is CRAZY to see that number. I'm always so shocked. 5k still seems like a stretch for awhile, but we'll see!
There's a lot more added, too, and even MORE that we didn't cover from todays updates. They put a LOTTT out over night. Which I knew they would, but the way things lined up, I couldn't get out there. As for Ghostbusters, I heard that's the easter egg there, creative!
The alley is themed to the quiet place from the updates I saw! So, that should be sweet!
Wouldn't it be wild if they had like caged animals for real?! LOL

We used to soak the cattails and let them air dry a bit - depending on much water they held, they would burn slow, but not that slow. Stupid stuff we did as kids in Boy Scouts. Be well.

I’m surprised you didn’t click on the 1984 Established date when Ghostbusters first came out. The second thing I’m wondering is if Ivan’s is in honor of Ivan Reitman, who obviously produced the first two and I know his son was behind these last two. Great video though, instigated a great conversation
@GoofyGuy-WDW I was reading that actually before I went. But I think I was so focused on showing all of the details to everything, and I was overheating a lot today lol. But from what I understand, it is for Ivan and his son based on the "family owned" aspect, yes! And 1984 definitely checks out! Haha
I booked opening weekend because park crowd levels are low this year. Typically, I go the second weekend.
Crowd levels have been a little less over summer, but in general it's still been quite busy. ALSO! HHN express has sold out on all but their lowest frequent fear pass, and RIP tours are selling out. So I imagine HHN will still be JUST as busy as last year, maybe a slight dip because the IP's from Stranger Things and The Last of Us have such a crazy audience. But it's worth keeping that in mind.

Have they added HHN merch to city walk yet?
I didn't see any in City Walk when I was there, maybe next week as we get closer?? I'll definitely point it out once it happens, though.
