I saw you vlogging in city walk back at the end of June when I went for a short weekend trip. I watched the video and actually saw myself in the background!
I also lived in "Chicago" (Geneva/Naperville) and moving south was the easiest thing for me (Atlanta burbs now, hopefully Orlando eventually). I miss the quality of life of those burbs, but my last straw was the last polar vortex where it was -50 and my heat went out in my car. Never. Again.
Ah yes, know both those areas! Have some friends that moved out to Naperville after college. Atlanta suburbs can be beautiful, though, so I'm sure you're loving that! I hope you can make it down to Orlando, it's such a great time, and there's just SOO much to do! I would have to say I was the same about the weather. Walking from the parking lot of a grocery store to the actual store itself and feeling like my face is frozen and painful from the 15 second walk was just too much LOL. Plus, all the salt on the roads destroying my clothes and my car.... So glad that's done lol.

I've been researching and prepping for my channel going on 3 years now and for some reason I struggle to actually start (like actually post one video). Something always comes up but I haven't completely thrown in the towel. One of the reasons I enjoy supporting and watching smaller channels grow is because I understand how challenging it can be. You're doing a great job and even though Nicole doesn't feel like she's doing enough, her presence makes all the difference I'm sure. I'm a one person team and maybe that's the issue. My daughter is usually always with me but as a child she can't help me. I have to balance being mom and making sure she has fun while trying to capture those moments so I've had to go back to the drawing board several times to figure out how to make it all work. We still are learning the "right" dynamic when recording all of the time. Sometimes you get done recording and you realize you forgot to record something, or during editing you're like dang... this isn't in focus or I didn't see that or whatever it could be. Or just being more conscious of your surroundings now, it's a learning curve for sure. I think another thing to mention would just be that your first videos will never be your best videos, so you're better to just kind of make some videos, post and then learn what works and doesn't! It's difficult keeping up with recording, editing, thumbnails etc etc. But once you start to get a rhythm of it, it becomes SLIGHTLY easier, but still not totally easy haha! I hope you end up making it work, though! I love when new creators start and you get to see them grow 😊 I know it's cliche, but losing weight is NOT a sprint, it's a marathon. Some months will be better than others, and some will be easier. We're human, mistakes happen, but as long as you trend in the right direction, you have to be happy with it! She was very nervous early on, and even still on new rides she still questions if she'll fit. And it's crazy because it's like there's no way she wouldn't but in your head, it's hard to break those feelings/memories. Thank you again for all of the support, it means a lot to us 🙌

Some people that have the same interests as me and wouldn’t mind hanging out with. I’m fairly new to your channel. I’ve made a few comments is all so far. I’m planning to move to Orlando soon, hopefully next year but hesitant for several reasons. I would be far away from family and wouldn’t know anyone there. Since I’m a pretty friendly guy, it probably wouldn’t take me long to make friends though. 😂 I do think it would be an easier move if I had someone to move with me. AKA a spouse. 😉 Getting a job they would also move things along quicker too. I still have my Disney dream role and not giving up on it. Nicole, “Congrats” on your weight loss “release” journey. I know that’s not easy but quite the accomplishment. 👏🏼Being an older brother of someone who has dealt with extreme obesity their whole life, I know how it can be. We both have an Islands of Adventure experience that we will never forget. My sister was told she would fit in her favorite attraction at the time, Dueling Dragons, and was excited to get in line. After the hour wait, she didn’t fit and had to make “the walk of shame” She was devastated and embarrassed. It broke my heart. 😢It was her birthday too! I was mad at that team member. They should have known better. 😠 Of course, I chose not to ride either. She just wanted to go back to the room after that moment But instead we went to a movie. After that, I recommended going on The Mummy, which we knew she would fit on and that uplifted her spirits again. Anyway, as you were talking about your journey, it reminded me of this experience. I’m excited to see what content you bring us in the future. With Epic Universe opening next year and all the Disney announcements from last night, you’ll be busy! 😂 This was a nice birthday gift by the way! Ore reason to expedite my move! I, too, have always wanted to start a UA-cam channel once I move to Orlando. It would have to be something unique though and something I could do with my “future” spouse. I like how you just go out there and film the things you are doing anyway and just bring us along for the ride. There is another UA-camr that is just like that. You probably know them or know OF them. 😉 I’ll be out to Orlando in Dec for an extended trip (two weeks) and I’ll frantically be looking for you guys! Visiting all major theme parks, including Busch Gardens this trip so hopefully that will increase my chances of running into you. 😂 And…I’m a Christmas guy too! 😁 There is nothing like being in the parks during the holidays. I did get to sing in the Cast Member choir for the Candlelight Processional when I was a cast member. A highlight while working there. Okay, I’m ending now before another thought pops in my head. 😂

That's the beauty of UA-cam, people continue to find new channels they enjoy watching every day! I think it's hard to really nail down the "friend" thing, because we have people were friendly with, but I don't know if we classify them as "friends" if we aren't hanging out all the time haha. It really does make moving easier if you have someone, like you said, it lets you have someone to lean on especially early when you're figuring it out. Are you trying to work for Disney one day?? We've seen a few times guests get to the front of the ride and then they unfortunately don't fit and some don't seem to care, and others look devastated. I can only imagine the emotions someone goes through, ESPECIALLY if you were certain you were going to fit and then they deny you. It would feel horrible. So I feel horrible for your sister, glad you could kind of redeem the day with the Mummy though! We have our hands full till Epic next year, and then we'll have so much Disney content from 2025-2030 assuming they actually follow through with these plans! Always the big question mark haha. WILL they do it, they said dirt was moving, but they also said construction won't start for a few years lol... so I think I'm confused which it is ha 😅 Hope to see you around when you are down here! We always love meeting friends in the parks, so we'll have to see if we end up bumping into you! The holidays in the parks are something else, I'm glad you agree 😊

I struggle with my weight too and completely relate to the fear of not fitting in a seat, but also she's amazing and gorgeous and it's awesome that she got to have such a positive experience with the test seats.
I'm glad people enjoy it! It's fun to talk about our personal lives, but also kind of "how will people take it?" feeling, too. We really appreciate all of the kind words 💙 We truly had no idea how awesome the theme park community was! I think she would definitely be ok talking about everything, she just always wants to make sure it "fits in" to the video. So we'll have to see in the future if we can give her the podium to talk about it! I still think she should start a personal channel, she loves doing so many small things haha, but I don't think she cares to learn editing and how to do all of the recording and such LOL. I'm just glad there's so many resources, now, for people that want to know more about fitting on certain rides. I think it's one thing that was missing for so long, and now there's facebook groups, website, youtube videos etc all showcasing with it!

We both have an Islands of Adventure experience that we will never forget. My sister was told she would fit in her favorite attraction at the time, Dueling Dragons, and was excited to get in line. After the hour wait, she didn’t fit and had to make “the walk of shame” She was devastated and embarrassed. It broke my heart. 😢It was her birthday too! I was mad at that team member. They should have known better. 😠 Of course, I chose not to ride either. She just wanted to go back to the room after that moment
But instead we went to a movie. After that, I recommended going on The Mummy, which we knew she would fit on and that uplifted her spirits again. Anyway, as you were talking about your journey, it reminded me of this experience.
I’m excited to see what content you bring us in the future. With Epic Universe opening next year and all the Disney announcements from last night, you’ll be busy! 😂 This was a nice birthday gift by the way! Ore reason to expedite my move! I, too, have always wanted to start a UA-cam channel once I move to Orlando. It would have to be something unique though and something I could do with my “future” spouse. I like how you just go out there and film the things you are doing anyway and just bring us along for the ride. There is another UA-camr that is just like that. You probably know them or know OF them. 😉
I’ll be out to Orlando in Dec for an extended trip (two weeks) and I’ll frantically be looking for you guys! Visiting all major theme parks, including Busch Gardens this trip so hopefully that will increase my chances of running into you. 😂 And…I’m a Christmas guy too! 😁 There is nothing like being in the parks during the holidays. I did get to sing in the Cast Member choir for the Candlelight Processional when I was a cast member. A highlight while working there. Okay, I’m ending now before another thought pops in my head. 😂

No matter if you joined today or day one as a subscriber or viewer, it all means so much to us. That's the beauty of UA-cam, people continue to find new channels they enjoy watching every day! I think it's hard to really nail down the "friend" thing, because we have people were friendly with, but I don't know if we classify them as "friends" if we aren't hanging out all the time haha. It really does make moving easier if you have someone, like you said, it lets you have someone to lean on especially early when you're figuring it out. Are you trying to work for Disney one day??
We've seen a few times guests get to the front of the ride and then they unfortunately don't fit and some don't seem to care, and others look devastated. I can only imagine the emotions someone goes through, ESPECIALLY if you were certain you were going to fit and then they deny you. It would feel horrible. So I feel horrible for your sister, glad you could kind of redeem the day with the Mummy though!
We have our hands full till Epic next year, and then we'll have so much Disney content from 2025-2030 assuming they actually follow through with these plans! Always the big question mark haha. WILL they do it, they said dirt was moving, but they also said construction won't start for a few years lol... so I think I'm confused which it is ha 😅

If Nicole's open to a video on her weight loss journey I'd love to hear more. I struggle with my weight too and completely relate to the fear of not fitting in a seat, but also she's amazing and gorgeous and it's awesome that she got to have such a positive experience with the test seats.
I'm glad people enjoy it! It's fun to talk about our personal lives, but also kind of "how will people take it?" feeling, too. We really appreciate all of the kind words 💙 We truly had no idea how awesome the theme park community was! I think she would definitely be ok talking about everything, she just always wants to make sure it "fits in" to the video. So we'll have to see in the future if we can give her the podium to talk about it! I still think she should start a personal channel, she loves doing so many small things haha, but I don't think she cares to learn editing and how to do all of the recording and such LOL.
I'm just glad there's so many resources, now, for people that want to know more about fitting on certain rides. I think it's one thing that was missing for so long, and now there's facebook groups, website, youtube videos etc all showcasing with it!

We have NO idea haha, she's incredibly soft, very hyper (makes me think Siamese), but she also has some unique markings. We adopted her from the animal shelter, so she came from the streets somewhere. I'd probably agree, though, some sort of Siamese!

Not gonna lie brother i despise people who rep chicago and werent born in raised in the city. Its a pride thing and its not easy. I grew up in Humboldt Park if you know Chicago then i need say less. Appreciate it!! It's always hard, if I tell someone a small town close to the city, they have NO IDEA where it is unless you're from the Chicago area. So back in Chicago, I never say I'm from the city, only to people that aren't from around haha. It is VERY different from area to area, for sure. Chicago also has so many different areas, all of which are completely unique inside of the city.
