I love the video!! :D The contrasts in the landscapes are so beautiful. :) You are so right about the patterns. It looks so cold though. It is still in the lower +20C here (except today, with a high of like 9C LOL). The lake photos are so pretty too! I hope you are enjoying your new house :D
Greetings from southern Indiana, USA! Did you increase the exposure value while taking the photos or did you do that later in post? Many times when I see snow photos I see a lot of photos of gray snow. The camera sensor tries to make it 18% gray. After a snowfall that is a bit late in the season, FB has lots of photos taken on cell phones with: gray snow! Since the snow in your photos is quite white, I wondered where you made the correction.
Southern Indiana is absolutely beautiful!! My husband and I used to live in central Indiana (Pendleton) for right at a year before moving back home to Texas. In the late Fall, I really miss Indiana (if not the temperatures). :) I too have to take that into consideration as my camera too likes to "compensate" for the very bright environment.
Hi Louis! For majority of the time I actually have my white balance in camera set to cloudy. I just personally prefer how it looks. In these photos my ISO was set to around 250. I do post-process in Lightroom Classic afterward. For these snowy photos in post I did some basic edits like increase the exposure and contrast, decrease the highlights and shadows, increase whites and blacks. I pretty much post-process to personal taste. I hope this helps!
I much prefer your discussing the photo instead of the music. There is an infectious excitement about what you are doing your voice. I know do this for you and your fans. Still, I would like it if there were a few seconds of silence to appreciate the photo before you start telling us about it.
Thank you for your video, and pictures of the first snow fall. Beautiful area.
Can't wait to see if we have snow this winter. Northern parts have it, in the UK. Hope you have settled in to your new home, and enjoying life there.
Hi Roy! We’ve been snowing lots here! We’re almost settled in :)

Thanks Tasha! The snow looks cold on this day but it was actually pretty warm!

Hi DeMorcan! Thank you for the feedback I’ll try it out for the next time! :)
