If God loves the world or us so much, we must love God and our neighbours/mankind so much too!

I pray that God will continue to raise up men like this even though there is a departure in the evangelical church.

When a father loves his son and not the neighbours son, does that mean his love to his son is not great?

God hates sinners.
Thomas Van Der Plas Sure His love for his son can be great but we can CONCEIVE of something greater, namely, him loving his neighbor’s son as well.
Joshua Theo It’s possible for God to hate sinners while simultaneously loving them. Hence “When we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”. That’s why He has “a love than which no greater can possibly be conceived”. On Calvinism, this is false. We can conceive of a much greater love than a God who decrees people to hate/reject Him only for God to turn around and condemn those same people to burn in hell forever for things that they had no control over.
