A great teacher, preacher, theologian, pastor and writer. He was senior minister at our church for almost 8 years. What a blessing he was/is. He is humble and walks what he talks. He is the most Godly person I have met in 33 years as a Christian believer.
God, in His great mercy and love, has given us men like R.C. Sproul, Alistair Begg, Sinclair Ferguson, and Randy Pope of Perimeter Church. I was going to ask that God give us more men like those whom I have just mentioned. But...., Oh, God has given us all of whom we need. So I will just praise Him.
The answer of Peter is the true rock not Peter himself. Jesus Is the corner stone of the church His gospel is the rock on which Peter and all the disciples are to build on , Jesus called Peter satan few minutes after giving him the keys of the church, proving to all others that he was not different than all,a sinner as we all are, needing repentance.
