I see you were in the army. Thank you for your service
Nice hunt.
Do you know the hunting policy for hunting inland sounds/ salt marshes in SC? Thanks trying to find an answer
I don’t right off, I believe DNR says any navigable waters you can hunt as long as your 300yds from a residence. But I’m not positive, your best bet is getting a DNR officer on the phone and asking to be safe
Thanks sir!
We've had the worst duck season ever recorded in Virginia history. Unless you have money, duck hunting on the Atlantic Flyway has become unimaginable bad. "We've" trained almost every duck flying down from Canada to feed exclusively in corn ponds and not in their natural feeding grounds. I wonder how the waterfowl managers of the country will convert the remaining ducks to corn ponds? Heaven forbid the ducks feeding and getting nutrition from natural proteins and seeds from creeks, rivers, swamps ,guts, etc..where they use to feed.
Atlantic flyway is kinda sad to be honest, some people argue that those corn ponds are the only reason we get a migration
@@PalmettoFowlHabit Mmmm....That's interesting.....If that's true....and it very well could be....duck hunting on the AF is truly dead. Mergansers and Oct wood ducks may be the only thing left one day.
I hunted va all my life, baiting is 1 problem, blind laws is another. Live in sc past 2 years and arthritis keeps me from hunting but cant imagine fighting all the mosquitoes
The duck hitting you has to be a once in a lifetime deal.
Yea it was wild man
