Thanks! I love the fogs on the Evo 4 & 5. A true rally car look. Yes it is manual. You honestly get used to shifting with your left hand pretty quick. The turn signal and wipers being switched is harder to get used to.
Nice to see a VWAG youtuber buying a evo iv congrats dude i brought one as rolling shell before covid. these things are fun as hell. but also own 2015 golf R
Thanks so much. I love the III as well. Was just watching Jackie Chan's Thunderbolt the other day just so I could see some III content. The Insta is instagram.com/sh_autohaus
It's been a fun journey, but it comes with some challenges for sure. My hope is that these videos will help shorten the learning curve for those that come after me, but preserving and restoring these cars is no easy feat.
Based on what I've found of the production numbers of the GSR only ~10% were black. Agreed though that Blue and Red were the most rare colors it came in.
@@shautohaus Clean car, take care of it. 5-10 years ago you could get a evo 4 for $7k-$11k all day long. Now they hardly exist up here. They rust fairly easy. I use to have a 6, fun cars. I miss it.
Would love to hear from you all. Which JDM Legend would you most like to own?
An Evo 5 or 6 is my dream car
@@LouieMcFly23 that's awesome man. The V is now legal in the US. Pricey, but legal.
gonna get an evo 4 soon
That's awesome. Love the lights. It's manual? Trying to imagine shifting with a RHD. Congrats man.

Very good buy! I would definitely keep it OEM plus and canyon it
Yep. OEM+ is the goal. Thanks for watching and commenting! 👍🏽
Congrats man, everytime I saw one In Fl, there's just something about them!
Thanks! One of those cars that you just always look back at when you get out of it.

Love it. Absolutely love my Audi everytime I get into it and love the Evo. Both so different, but both a blast to drive.
@@shautohaus both are 4wd so you can test who does better
Awesome car, brother.
Thanks man.
awesome seats, some of my favorites
My wife thought I was gonna swap them out. She said they are hideous 🤣🤣🤣
I also have a Evo 4, you are going to love it
That's awesome. I'm already loving it! Thanks for watching and commenting. Really appreciate it.
Wait! What! You got a Evo!!! It is everyone's dream!
hahaha it already sounds awesome!
maybe new seats and a roll cage?
Yes my friend. Bought one in November and in love 🥰
all 4g63’s between 1991-1998 which were 6 bolt motor have this problem. Its the 7 bolt motors that dont have crank walk.
Yep, very aware of the potential crank walk issue. It's why I don't depress the clutch pedal when I start the vehicle.
Congratulation 🎉
Thanks. It's a dream come true for sure.
Im crazy for the III, but yours looks amazing, does the car has a instagram?

Waiting on this day For me 🙏🙏 Keep the dream alive.
Took me 20 years so don't give up hope.
How do you like it so far? I have been thinking about buying one since the other cars on my dream sheet have gotten too expensive.

check it for crank walk…..
I wouldn't say black is super rare. I've seen a handful in Canada but yes most were white or silver.
Based on what I've found of the production numbers of the GSR only ~10% were black. Agreed though that Blue and Red were the most rare colors it came in.
Also appreciate you watching and commenting. Always awesome to get engagement from folks.
