  • In this video I will go through the steps of removing an FX Crown, a pre-charged pneumatic, air powered, pellet-firing rifle, from it's original stock and mounting it in a Saber Tactical Chassis.
This is the second video I've done covering this operation. The first one was a couple years ago when the first version of the Chassis was released. This new version has several feature updates which I will detail in the video, along with a run-down of the original features.
Full Disclosure: I am a Saber Tactical employee, and as such, this video is sponsored by Saber Tactical. With that said, this is my channel, and I am free to be honest in this and any reviews I do. There are a few things that I want the viewer to know on the "con" side of the equation, and the video contains my honest assessment of those things.
There is far more to like about this edition of the Chassis than there is to quibble about, and the installation is easy. It takes, as it often does, far longer to talk about it than do it, but there is a particular order that must be followed or you will run into trouble. Installation requires a set of metric allen wrenches and I recommend a magnetic parts tray.
I mention my favorite tripod for that style of shooting in the video. It's the Recon V2 by Two Vets. Here is the link.

For UA-cam reviewers. This is not firearms content. Neither FX, the maker of the Crown PCP air rifle, nor Saber Tactical, the maker of the Chassis, make products for rim or centerfire rifles. Nothing in this video, including the grip, is made to be used on, with or adapted to, a firearm.
