Made this tonight. My four year old son had three helpings! That’s a major win. Another stellar, simple, satisfying recipe.
I love how many vegetarian recipes you provide so we don't have to miss out if we don't eat meat.
Man the great hits just keep on coming. Already a pinto bean fan, this just gives me another " over the top" economical option.
The fried egg and parsley combination is something I've never seen before and it makes perfect sense. I'm going to try this the next time I make beans. Which is going to be soon.
Beautiful recipe Albert! that fried egg mixture is a really interesting addition, and quite verstatile. I can think of many uses for it! Thanks.
Made this a few weeks ago. My daughter is asking for it again. Lost my notes on this receipe, so glad I "liked" it just came up easy on my liked videos. Thank you so much. Will be serving it up to guests tomorrow.
Just remembered - I've still got some Saffron left over and really looking forward to making this for tomorrow.
The egg/parsley thickener is a new idea to me- it feels vaguely like medieval cuisine for some reason…🧐
Your recipes are mouthwatering and you explain them extraordinarily well.
Bravo.
Просто Фасоль) а так вкусно выглядит!) Отличная подача!
The addition of the egg mixture was rather intriguing. I'll have to give it a try.
That looks wonderful. I love your recipes. Such simple ingredients and to cook as well. Thank you so much.
That looks delicious and what a great addition the egg is. Will try this. Thanks for another yummy recipe.
I had to order some saffron from amazon since it's truly impossible to get it where I live in Canada ( without winding up an arm and a leg lighter that is lol )
I'm excited for it to get here so I can make this!!! thank you for all your great traditional spanish food ideas ❤️
I super love your channel. I’ve been slowly making your recipes! Glad I found you!!!
I don't generally buy canned pinto beans, but I will start soaking some dry beans tonight so that I can make this tomorrow. As always, thank you so much for these recipes. I particularly enjoy the bean and chickpea recipes.
Wow another good recipe using my favorite Pinto beans. I am making this also. I have made several of your recipes and they all have been very tasty. Thanks
Albert: Delicious! *_I💗PINTO BEANS !!!_* Always a main staple in my place. I have all of these
ingredients now... +/- FRESH parsley. Another WILL-make. Thanks again, and have a great weekend!
(Fan from San Francisco.) *!!~
So far I have made your cod and tomatoes, shrimp penne pasta and poor man’s potatoes. All easy and all delicious. This one I will make next.
Looks good! I like beans! I made ,make same, with out eggs, with stake bacon. I try this. Thank you so much for Spanish dishes!😋❤
Albert- delicious!! Hubby and teenaged son loved this. I doubled recipe of course so there would be enough for me. 😂
Made this yesterday and family loved it! I added some rice, it was a pretty heavy carb dish but very tasty!
That looks fantastic I love to slow cook beans instead of buying so that way I have more and use it to make this delicious dish. Thanks Albert!
I always simmer my pinto beans all day long. I can’t stand the texture of canned beans - well - unless they are the ones I can myself! LOL
you don't buy the ones you slow cook? you must grow your own then. I have never tried growing pinto beans before.
@@richardwallace6313 I buy the dried pinto beans, but yes, I’ve grown them and canned them myself. Those are the only canned ones I like. I grew up canning, and my dad and mom had a 2 acre garden. We always had several rows of pinto beans and I grew up shelling, canning, or freezing them. We also allowed a row or so to dry out on the vine at the end of the productive season for the plants and shelled them, spread them on screens, and let them finish drying in the sun. Then we’d put them in large co tainted to use all year long. I don’t like commercially canned pinto beans; they seem to hold on to the flavor of the can.
@@richardwallace6313 oops I forgot! I soak the dried beans overnight before I cook them!
@@vickiibendit943 that is best, but if you forget, you can soak them a few hours anyway; you can use a pressure cooker, too, but we rarely do
very delicious nice sharing
Ah, pinto beans.... chapter one in "How to Win Friends and Influence People."...
The egg surprised me... I'm definitely going to try that. Maybe for lunch today...
Ok so I actually just made this dish .Well Spain on a fork ,It was Forking delicious .
I made this except instead of the egg, I made a picada using bread and parsley (trying out some vegan cooking skills) - it was still insanely good. The flavors come together beautifully, especially with that saffron and the bay leaves. Spanish cooking is quickly rising to the top for me.
Gracias por todas estas recetas me traen recuerdos de mi niñez y mi madre siempre hacía cosas así me encantaba mojar pan se puede usar las alubias normales y dejarlas en remojo toda la noche? Un abrazo desde estas tierras tan lejanas
Looks great Alberto !❤ I will alter your recipe by adding some fresh precooked ham hocks. meat off the bone or tripe to this recipe !
The YELLOW mortar again!!!!! I swear, if I ever manage to get to Spain, I'm gonna liberate it from your kitchen. Gonna try this for the weekend; the fried egg and parsley is monster.
I never expected a fried egg. It looks interesting. When we move out of our apartment and into our house (with a functional kitchen), I will try this recipe. Thank you. (I bet the egg/parsley would add a kick to dip made with frijoles refritos...shh, don't tell my husband.)
Yummy recipe
I’m not vegan. But I’m considering it after eating awesome food like this. Absolutely delicious.
😃 got my pinto beans cooking now, I'll get back to you later ☕👏
Would celery be good in addition with the carrots? I love pinto beans :-) I'm going to make this dish for a hearty brunch. This would be good over a small bed of rice or wilted massaged kale or even collards greens. Yum!
@@SpainonaFork I just made the dish, It turned out well. It was delicious, I actually used kohlrabi leaves instead of kale and I added pearl onions and topped that on rice.
I like your cookware, Can you tell me the brand name and what metals is made of?
Looks delightful. Is it tacky of me to be tempted to substitute Cilantro for Parsley?😀
Thought not typical here in Spain, but you can totally use it! Much love :)
it is amazing how vegan spain is.
Hello, I looked on Amazon for your yellow mortar & pestle, it's not on your equipment list either. Where did you find it? 👍♥️🇨🇦
Albert, could I crack the egg directly into to pan with the beans and mix it in as it cooks?
That will create more of a scramble from the egg, won´t have the same texture, but you can totally try it! Much love :)
I don’t like eggs. Can I leave out the egg and just add fresh parsley?
Try bacalao on/con salsa
PINTOS BEANS FRESH ME , THANKS YOU GOODNESS 🌟 AMAZING ❤️🖤💚🤎 FAMILY DAPHNE COTTON ALWAYS 💜
If using dried beans and soaking overnight, how many cups? I'll try soaking (and cooking!) 1cup.
😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
🤤👍
Another beautiful healthy dish
Would love to see your version of a somewhat less healthy dish - Basque cheesecake
This is called Rajma curry in India
I never saw a fried egg used that way?!!
Kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Is this dubbed in?
Instead of frying the egg, how about a hard boiled egg? My thinking is, it wouldn’t have all of the grisly parts of the fried egg 🤷🏻♂️. As always, thank you.
U r so cute
I use dill weed in stuff
Just made this dish again .If you don't like this ,you don't like sex or money !!!!!!!
I just want to add that this isnt Mexican Salvadorian Peruvian etc, this is SPANISH, SPAIN, recipe. A MEXICAN AND THE REST OF US are not spanish we dont eat it like this.
In guatemala we eat black beans like they eat in Cuba as well, also beans is part of our diet.
My dude, chill. He said it "hailed from Spain" in the first 26 seconds of the video. Plus I would have guessed it was Spain given his channel name.
PLEASE, stop being a prima donna, keep your hands still, and speak slowly.
Otherwise, the recipes are good.
Make something with red meat and eat it in a video.
¡Hola amigo! Me encantó ver ESTE video tuyo también!!! Espendido!! 😍😍😍
Si te gusta te invito a ver mi último video y déjame saber lo que piensas !!! Gracias !!! ❤❤❤❤
Beans are of the the best staples you can have in your pantry during a food crisis.
Yes! Much love :)
