Love this! Fun group, great trails, who could want anything more! The new trail looked crazy fast and fun. Yes please to that Pivot! Awesome edit Zane.
Thanks for this. I lived in that area and rode Avalon from the late 80's until 2005. I used to work with and ride with Donald and it looks like you started this ride at his shop. Thinking of heading that way this summer with my family and can't wait to take my kids there. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this video, you've done a great job at capturing the beauty of the area and the joy that it brings people. Say hi to Donald for me.
I love hearing stuff like this. I know Donald's roots in the biking are very deep so I'm not surprised at all! The shop is such a sweet location cause it's literally a quick pedal to the avalon side. Thank you again for your kind words and I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
You have a great channel. Thanks for sharing MD & greater DC trail info. I’m in NoVA and would like to try this trail…what’s a good starting point for this run?
@@ranalahiri5111 thank you, much appreciated! Patapsco, as a whole, is massive with over 200 miles of trail, meaning a lot of starting points! Parking anywhere in the avalon area will get you to most of these trails easily
@TheNewnan3 i wouldn't recommend it unless you need to use the shop services, it can fill up kind of quick. There's plenty of parking in an around the park.
I 100% agree with the first part of your comment, we're all just people enjoying mountain bikes. However, there's a reason this group exists. The demographic in MTB sways heavily one way due to lack of opportunities and influence in BIPOC communities. We're out here changing that!

I used to camp up there as a kid. These trails look amazing!
@farwoodfarm9296 that's awesome, they really are great trails!

Thanks Sage! This one was such a blast to make cause the energy was so good all around. Stay tuned for the Pivot video next...it's gonna be wild.

Man we're so blessed to have these trails locally. Definitely get down here while the spring is in full effect! Thanks bud 🤙🏽
Great video. Looks like the perfect place for a SingleSpeed!
Thanks dude and yes indeed, there's quite a big single speed community out here!

Such great trails! Love to hear how much history they have.
That was sick 🤙🏾💯 awesome riding 💪🏾
Thank you!
So is parking at the Elkridge bike shop location the best place to park?
@TheNewnan3 i wouldn't recommend it unless you need to use the shop services, it can fill up kind of quick. There's plenty of parking in an around the park.
Dude. Have you ridden the rock haven, pickal, or hollofield areas of the park? If not, hit me up!
Craig took us out there last week. It was some good tech riding. You’d love it!!
where did you start your ride
@Jad-mt6pb all my videos will have the strava link in the video description, check that out for all the route details!
When Is your AARP ride?😅
Most of the retired dudes in the group ride faster than me😂
Can you share trail colors and the such or ride map data?
Sure thing! In 99% of my videos check the video description, there will be a strava link to our ride route, check that out!
why do you guys go so fast?
@@greggj82 huh 😅can't say I ever asked myself that....it's just really fun to go fast lol
You are just mountain bikers! Like all of us! The minority distinction is Identity politics! Layme! Just ride bikes and smile! We are all humans!!
