It’s a great car I bought it because I could get it at a deal so I did and thought I’d just use it as a car to drive around in but now I actually like the car
What Bluetooth system are you using? Sweet ride!! This has always been my favorite suv ever. I had a 2005 fx45 but had to let it go due to the gas consumption. Looking at buying a 35 sometime soon and hopefully I’ll be able to get my hands on one!!
The Bluetooth is just one that you plug into the 12v outlet. I’m not sure of the name. It crapped out not that long ago. How was acceleration in the FX45? I’ve never been in one. What was your favorite thing about the 45? When you get your 35 make sure to post a pic. Thanks for watching!
@@linkybird98 I used to have a white ‘04 FX45 until it got totaled in 2019. I loved it. I got it with 140k miles and put roughly 67k miles on it during the 5 years I owned it, so over 200k when it was totaled. It was my first car actually. Acceleration wise, the initial thrust is a lot stronger than the 35. The sound of the V8 was amazing, and for people that knew it was a 45 it was a great conversation starter cause not a lot of people know just how rare it is. And average fuel economy was 12.5, mostly city driving. I miss it, I tried to get another one but the nearest one was 800 miles away. So yeah, my favorite thing was hands down the looks I got. It was completely stock.
Oh she feels very planted at any speed. We’ve done 100mph several times and it feels as though she isn’t even being pushed hard. The steering is very tight and the ride quality is still smooth.
@@linkybird98 Good to know. I've been in a few cars that feel very unstable at those speeds as if the car shouldn't be going that fast. Good to know the FX is great in high speeds.
@@Nestle245 yes, infinitis are built fast and secure. even older ones. infiniti intended to make their cars fast and stable. theyre also very reliable, and if youre a teenager like me whos looking to get their first carm this would be a great first car.
@@linkybird98 I had all my shocks replaced last year (had the car for 6 years at) control arms replaced, new tires. thats about it. The only thing that needs to be changed is the catylitic converter (to expensive for an AWD) and the front crossmember. Other than that the car is getting me from A to B lol. For some reason I thought these were the coolest cars on the planet when I was in elementary school haha
I think the cool factor still holds up! I like that they were referred to as the bionic cheetah!
I have one mys 2006 and i love it and its still cool fast and ppl dont belive me when i say it 2006 still look grate
@@addison2901 samee i have the FX35 2006 the engine the power still talk to this days the exhaust

@@elieakawas I just bought a 2006 FX35 sport today. Love it!
Great car. Superb engine, transmission, design and overall quality.
Yk I’m 15 and this is my dream car people think it’s weird but I love the v6 based from the 350z and the suvs look
It’s definitely a great dream car to have, it’s not weird at all. It would definitely put a smile on your face wherever you go.

Had my 07 for 8 years now.. lovely car and easy to maintain ❤.. also fun to drive.. over 200,00 miles.
I love that you won’t always see one around every corner. When you spot another one out and about it’s cool.
Man my 2007 FX35 is SO FUN TO DRIVE. The handling is soooo good. I want to get sway bars.
Does it suck on gas like my m35 not super bad but could be better
I always got 16 city and 21 highway. Premium
I love this car so much and wanna buy one so bad !
You should definitely get one!! You won’t be disappointed.
I’m actually selling mine, you should reach out if still looking for one
You’re pushing it full throttle cold? Bad idea.
It's at operating temperature. XD The temp gauge is not supposed to be past the halfway mark.
@@XsaviXander No, thats the coolant temperature. The oil and transmission are not at operating temperature for at least 2x the amount of time.
@@chesterchen2684 Didn't know it took longer for the oil and transmission to get to operating temp. Thanks for letting me know.
@@XsaviXander no worries, you still have this beast, my friend?
This was a very enjoyable video
Thank you!

just bought 2005 awd with 136miles on it. hope i won’t regret
How is it so far?
i have the same car. any idea why is the rpm guage little glitchy?
It started doing it only about 3 years ago. It could be a dirty throttle body plate or the tach itself is showing its age.
@@linkybird98 Salt, water, moisture, oil... at rpm sensor.
What are the exhaust mods of this car?
A DCT would be a cool upgrade..
Strasznie zajeżdżony egzemplarz. Silnik już chyba umarły
Solid vehicle for sure. Aftermarket support is good it's a g35 on a SUV body.
It definitely handles like a car!
How does it feel in high speeds? When you were at 90 did it feel stable?

It gives you confidence! The more you push the throttle the more eager and poised it is!
@Weedy Jr. That would be around 125mph. I'm surprised you got it up that high.

Did it need any kind of maintenance done to it? How has it held up? That’s a lot of miles. Pretty sweet. Congratulations on your first ride.

Nice car
Thank you!
Top speed ? Mine was 137
How is the gas on these?
Average for tha year but not good for today standards but if u mostly drive highway it's not that bad I have a m35
Premium fuel is recommended. I always tried for 93 octane. Typically saw 14-16 city and 19-21 highway.
I want 1 so bad o wait I have 1 😂😉
I think full throttle is more brutal from stand still. At least that’s how it behaves on my 04 g35 coupe.
The 45 sounds way better
Keep right pls
The gears are lagging
How did you determine this?
this is normal when it's on drive
when you drive it manual it shifts pretty fast.
