I wonder if something like a archenemies screw, an auger in a pipe , would be good fir pulling up sand and gravel from a creek or river bottom. A 2"-4" pipe with a auger inside , spun with a drill, have a dump on the side of the pipe, maybe 36" long, a 1" pipe handle anf a ³/4" hoop handle about mid way , have the outlet dump so a large hose can be clamp on it. 2"+. Maybe have a water jet spray into the pipe outlet, so it can be washed into a large collection tub, or 5gal. bucket, with a cloth covered bottom, with small holes in the bucket, use denim or something to cover the bucket so it doesn't hold water, maybe make extension attachments, for deeper water, maybe 3-4, 36" extensions, a lawnmower inner tube near the top, so it floats, with weight near the business end , possibly a teeth ring attachment for the end to help it dig , a spiked tip for the auger. Seems it could work to process gravel in water. And on dry land, just Using the auger, using a detector to find the area would be the best, just curious!
Thanks, Chris...Really enjoying that dumbed-down approach to a prospecting video. Volcano theory, hydraulic pit, digging gold out of bedrock. Very simple, to follow, thanks!
"ONYA CHRIS"ANOTHER GREAT INFORMATIVE VID FULL OF CONTENT.IF YOUR NOT FINDING ANY GOLD IN ONE SPOT OF COURSE A CHANGE IN LOCATION WILLL HELP YOU WITH FINDING MAYBE YOUR FIRST GOLD NUGGET
Got a question: Do you re check the dirt after you throw it back on the ground? ( the stuff you dont go over the detector after you get the alert). In case you miss another nugget. Great vid Chris.
Hi Ralph always enjoy your video's, how would you find an old River Bed. I live in the uk & travel to Scotland several times a year. would you look at satellite images were would you start. I know and have books that have test areas showing places that have gold, but old River Beds.
Hi Chris I really appreciate your videos I see you are using a bluetooth head phone set up on your gold monster could you share what you are using thanks
The gold may becoming from an old river bench. Checkout my video on the topic of tracing gold to its source. See: ua-cam.com/video/Q3lwdFf0y9M/v-deo.html
Hello Cris, greetings from Sinaloa, Mexico. I watched your video several times where you teach how to use the gold bug pro and the Teknetics G2 as the cheapest detector to find gold I wanted to know if you already know the Chinese clones of these devices. I bought a tx-850, which is the Chinese clone of the Teknetics G2 and it has served very well for relic coins and small objectives, but I have not yet tested it well for gold. This clone costs around 150 dls on aliexpress Have you already seen some of those, this is the one I told you about, the tx-850 and another one called goldfinder fs2
If you think the "clones" are equivalent and the same as the genuine detectors, you are wrong. The clones look similar on the outside, some times very similar, but on the inside are very different. Usually when you buy cheap Chinese you get cheap Chinese junk.
Years ago I compared a GPX5000 clone to a real GPX 5000. The clone could not detect large objects even when they were touching the coil. Problem is there are dozens of fake Chinese clones. How one compares tells you nothing about how another clone would compare.
@@ChrisRalph Thank you very much for your answers, what happens is that I have never used the original because it is not in my budget. In the master detector store here in Mexico, it costs around 1000 dollars for the gold bug pro, but I already used the clones (goldfinder fs2) and ( tx-850) and at least as coin and relic detectors they are quite good on my channel I have some videos with them in case you have time
Maybe we can collaborate here after I hit the Powerball Jackpot; I'll seed 15,000-20,000 nice sized nuggets somewhere that needs to be cultivated - replanted.
Why not name some of these pits and/or throw up a map of where they are/where to park/how to get there? Help some of the people w/the research? Some are obvious like Malenkov though as I understand it people can't root around in that location as it's a park. I'm thinking about the people that aren't local to Gold Country.
I worked at it and learned to do research for myself. You can do it too. Gold is money. If you ask someone to put you on the gold they found, it is the same as asking that person for money.
So at no point did I suggest that people are put onto the gold found by another. As part of an educational process we give students a starting point. I'm asking/suggesting sharing the location of a well-known hydraulic pit to kickstart the journey of people. There have to be plenty of hydraulic pits that are well known. If you pointed 1000 people to 1 pit and they spent an entire day metal detecting I think we'd all be stunned if collectively they found 200 grams of gold. @@ChrisRalph
Hi, Mr. Ralph I need your help with an issue I'm struggling with and I need you to kindly see some pictures. I couldn't find any contact information, if you tell me how to contact you I would be appreciated.
Yes you right but my location is in Iran and I don't access to all contents that are accessible for you and I'm a bigginner in this field By the way thank you for the reply

Gold bearing rivers have loads of rocks of different sizes including boulders, which make screws break.
Looks like a pretty good spot with more nuggets waiting to be found !!!! And a shoutout too !!!!!!
I was up there Saturday and gold a dozen more, most of them larger than those tiny ones in the video.
@@ChrisRalph sweet
Small pieces, but still found gold !!! Great video as always.
Glad you enjoyed it
Well Chris - you convinced me and I bought your book. Look forward to what knowledge you share in the book!
Awesome, thank you!
It's the prospector's bible isn't it,I reckon so
"Your welcome"
you like that scoop. be out next weekend finally cool enough. not be in the 100 degrees. out in the coolgardie area. have a good day.
Sounds great! Best of luck to you.
Nice little pocket there Chris, might be worth putting that sand through sluice or something.
Great comment, because in a video I just worked on yesterday, I put that sand through a sluice - and there was good gold.
A nugget in the hand is better than 2 in the bush
It is!
Cheers Chris👍👍👍
Thanks
That was pretty cool Chris. Thanks.

Yes, and sometimes you get an extra nugget out of it.
I would love to detect in this area , location please

Look for signs of river gravel well up from the creek on the sides of the stream.
Very cool, I need a better detector
Save up to buy the best you can afford.
Hi Chris
I really appreciate your videos
I see you are using a bluetooth head phone set up on your gold monster could you share what you are using
thanks
Yes I can. They are from Dennis Katz's website and are his wireless headphones see:

When are going do Colorado
Likely sometime in the next few months.
Chris how do I find the source of the nuggets I find ? They are really smooth surfaced but not in a stream rather on hillsides

Chris, is that a bluetooth transmitter you got strapped to the side of the control box?
It is glued to a piece of angle plastic that attaches to the battery hatch.

You unplugged it at the start of video.
Its a wireless headphone system. I did a video on it. See: ua-cam.com/video/CCj_Ao-M46U/v-deo.html
