She is Floor Jansen, queen of the stage and goddess of music, she not only sings the cover of a song, she improves it! I suggest you react to another cover of her: "Oblivion" from the 2013 film of the same name with Tom Cruise, as well as obviously some her performances with Nightwish band, starting with the incredible performance of the song "ghost love score" from the 2013 concert in Wacken.

Just a thought. I don't know if you've done anything from the Dutch TV show Beste Zangers, but the 2019 season featured Floor as well as some other outstanding vocalists. Floor did songs in multiple languages, multiple genre's, and covers of others from the cast. It's another "rabbit hole" that needs your attention. haha. Thanks again.

You should definately check out the other Floor Jansen covers. They are spectacular! Everytime she adds the rock-metal flavor to the song.. It is divine!
I know there are many covers of this song and some are excelllent too but I doubt anyone sings it as effortlessly as Floor does.. it's a difficult song to sing but Floor makes it look so easy
Well of course she does have a limit in her vocal range(however high that is idk lol) but she seems to have no limits in how she improvises her phrases which is why we say Floor is the most versatile singer in Symphonic Metal.
One aspect about Floor's covers - they are never what you expect, style or genre-wise. What we do expect, and get, is not a cover, but a new version, with Floor's stamp all over it.

Floor redid this back in the day when she was just getting into recording from her studio and so she did the required adjustments for optimal quality..
