I bet its probably Bisforbuilds mustang that they seized. 🤔
Racingb67 Race - Eleanor People confiscated his build. He gave to them or get sued by them.
Be careful with using any reference to the Elenore car unless you want to loose the car and $$$$.
@@racingb67race21 He had a choice give up his build or pay the money he made from the vids.
Thanks for upload x
officially licensed... avoid the old lady's wrath.🤣🤣🤣
“I shoulda probably sat down and thought it through” made me laugh! You’re doing phenomenal bro!
Anyone who has done extreme resto-mods will attest that you can only start with an idea and general measurements. You've discovered what happens to everyone. No shame, vTuned. You've joined the club.
BMW BOYS😂😂😂
Thinking things through could sometimes end up in not even trying it at all. So i'm rather a fan of just going ahead with an idea and fixing any problems when they turn up. At least the you will get a little closer towards your goal. All good, you can get it done vTuned! :D
@@320iSTWEdition Yeah, that's called over thinking and over planning......sometimes you do your best guess and have at it then adjust as you go. Not to bang on the guy but every single coyote swap into a 60's mustang has had one issue to deal with: engine height lol. The coyote is SO much taller than a 289/302. (and wider). The main reason is the coyote is an overhead cam engine therefore the heads are massive compared to the 289....
Anybody who admits his mistakes is a good man!
I like the fact that you admit when something is wrong no one is perfect but you are a bad ass keep up the good work
This^^^ It's one of the reasons I like the channel. He's not afraid to admit and show when he messes up. Keep up the great work.
Correction "no one isn't perfect*"
I have a special place in my heart for people like you bro.... I really like people that are great at what they do but they are also humble!! Keep up the good work mate! This is going to be one of a kind!!!
Agree
After what Chris went through I wouldn't want to have anything to do with something with the word "Eleanor" attached to it.
Which is why he went direct to the source. Safest place for the Remora? Right on the shark.
I think the "E" word should never ever be used!!! I gave away my DVD of that movie !! Please do not tell us about that car!!
Should’ve burned it.
No way I’ll ever look with a smile at an Eleanor again.
Bud just remember eleanor is just a name.... what the car is ... unicorn. A 1 horned mustang..... only 1 of them
Ya..... the waiting is finally over... mustang is back
There is a reason it was only tacked together. Keep at it till you are happy with it. Now’s the time to get it perfect.
Nothing about that was tacked.
You shall not say that E word......
This time I think we're safe since its licensed. At least I hope
R.i.p. B...
I seriously cringed when he said the E word.
licensed so the studio can make more money? fuck that car.....
@@vegaswould Not the Studio. The Widow.
Someone who makes work benches needs to sponsor these guys 😁😁they seem to always be working on the floor 🤣🤣
Not be to rude I mentioned the high of the engine on one of your previous videos I’m glad you saw it keep up the good work god bless you
Zoumana Kante your good man thanks!
Remember dont touch The frame of the windshield. Wide The pillars if u need, But Leave the original windshield. Less trouble.
Greatings from Argentina
@@BetterCallGatto the car has been widened by 4+ inches....i dont think the original glass will work
Congrats on the goonzquad Trackhawk, it looks amazing, you are a genius man! So thrilled by the mustang!! looking forward to see it finished! greetings from Guatemala!!
Don't say "Eleanor", they will come and take your car! :-P
they bought license, not like b is for build.
The way you took your time explaining yourself on this video made the video a lot more enjoyable to watch, instead of rushing yourself through your video/content. great job keep up the good work vtune.
Not gonna lie, I cringed a bit when you said the E word lol
cringed? only girls cringe. cmon, man up
End up like @bisforbuild
Well, seeing as he is repping the giveaway via Fusion Motors ~ aka the company who has She-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named's blessings to produce the cars (Which is the car being given away, not his) ~ I think the did the Smart thing and figured out how to partner up so as to stay in the good graces of SWSNBN (/ out of legal action range).
who is the e of the voldemort world and what did she do
There isn't enough of a car for her to take, wait till he gets closer to being done
That Eleanor giveaway is probably the b is for build one since it was built for free
Maybe
Too soon? Lol
I was thinking the same thing.
It looks like an original 67-68, plus he said who built it.
Lol nahh that was no doubt scrapped for being unsafe
I would enter to get that car and then sell it after what they did to Chris from B is for Build. F that car and that movie. I am done with both.
If you're done with it,just dont enter. Since you hate them so much.
i wouldve said someone stole it.
Great to see such a young talented guy appreciating the classic cars of the past.
What your doing is the best way to learn. Anybody that knows engineering will understand and forgive a few mistakes, your doing something which has never been done .
Beyond his fabrication skills, I love his honesty.
I've been building Hot Rods full time since 1975 and still do, I have a couple suggestions if you're interested you can shoot me your email address and I'll get back to you. I'm sure you get all all kinds of suggestions some good some bad just looking to help.
Great to see this project again! Love the way you take every problem in your stride. Even problems that would make some people just quit. Great vid man!
At this point I'm not sure if I can even write the name "Elenor" without my car being taken .
You certainly can...especially if you spell it incorrectly. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Was gonna say , that prize car looks like b is for builds car lol
That was only a publicity stunt... they called him out on his Facebook page...
@@ESharp79 fixed, your majesty.
@@MasterDisaster00 just a joke homie.
"the Eleanor is licensed" LOL
Licensed and copy writed
Maybe you don’t know what happened to
B is for build
I think he was definitely ‘throwing shade’ at Chris from B is for Build for his Eleanor disaster!
L, Na why would you pay them any money when you could build you own car ...huh????
I can't believe you said the E word!, They are going to take your channel away. Lol
Thank you for showing you fixing problems. So many people would have smoothed that over in editing or doing a bunch of work off of camera. We can all learn from your mistake. That is priceless.
Finally a Mustang video!!
You know, it's refreshing to one's faith in humanity's to see you and others doing things like this. With so many others in your age group running the streets to ruin the streets while demanding handouts you guy's are offering handouts of skill and knowledge. Keep up the outstanding work.
10:51 "Lasted a good couple of months" That's the Harbor Freight quality we all know and love.
Perhaps he should buy the 2 year warranty plan? OR-- spin down a brass bushing on a lathe and prevent the shaft from "wallowing" out again? I've had some HF tools for 5+ years, but don't over use an inexpensive homeowner product. Like he said, he could buy a more expensive name brand unit...
@@alfaspiderveloce6617 I was just joking. I buy a lot of stuff there. Most of it decent.
Harbor Freight is cheaper than renting but for heavy duty use, it's just a go-between while waiting for the professional quality tool to arrive. For a homeowner like me, it's close to good enough especially for those things you will only use once every five years.
This is THE rebuild project to watch on UA-cam.
Don't get discouraged. Your videos show authenticity. I love your content. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see it when its running and driving.
You can NEVER go wrong with Classic Cragar Wheels!
Brilliant job mate, especially as you are having to re do previous solutions... hats off to you for keeping going!
I would rather buy other omaze tickets than one related to that Eleanor car...
Enjoy watching the project come together.
The way you measure the subframe is what I like to call precision eyeballing :-D
The Elanor giveaway had me dying! Paul has a twisted sense of humor. 😂🤣🦅
Stock mustang wheels buddy, surprise the heck out of everyone
I was just going to comment the same thing. Original 66 rims and tires
VTuned, build it, test it, take it apart, and rebuild it. Keep going you are doing great.
cant support that E word since they stole B is for Builds tribute car..
Or removed a badly built POS from the road.
BIGstarSA1NTS --- B is for Boring, that guys channel is so terrible. Mostly moaning instead of actually building. Stop bringing other channel's drama to every other car build channel.
@@Liofa73 That's so true, his videos are all about 25 minutes of talking about sponsors, his builds and his gf or wife whoever that is. Anyways Oscar does all the work and all we get to see is 10 second sped up clip of the actual guy working.
@@squaregreen you realise this guy here has literally cut his car in half right? And you're talking about B-is-for-Build making a POS? 😂😂 Also, what on earth are you guys talking about with never seeing him work and always complaining? See a damn site more than you do in one of someone like Tavarish's videos for instance, and the guy is pretty much always upbeat considering the shit that's happened to him. What with one project shell being demolished by a delivery driver and another being forcibly taken by Lawyers. The guy pretty much always has a smile on his face. Always see progress in his videos as well, a damn site more than you see here or especially with Mr "Wrench every day" who puts up about 4/5 videos as "Garage updates" seen some BS but this takes the cake
@@Liofa73 when have you ever seen B is for Build bring another channel's drama into a video?
Ohhhhh yeeeeaaaaa
VTUNED IS ON THE AIR
Most underrated build channel on UA-cam. Keep grinding young man!
Bud , when you are done with this project , the amount of insight and knowledge you gain is going to add to your already phenomenal skills !
Mistakes will be made and corrected, that's the best way to learn from scratch !
I will LOL so hard if Omaze sponsors a B is for Build video.....
im lost to the drama what happened?
@@TheCamaro5 a lawyer representing the author of gone in seconds wife took b is for builds car because he called it Eleanor. He put all kinds of work into it and they shut him down and took his car. It's completely ruined that movie for me. And to top it all off it wasn't even really a replica. It was just an old school body wrapped around a 2015 mustang. He didn't even get a chance to paint the car or anything
so now they finished it and now its
licensed and for free xd
@@prsmantse1 what that is crazy
Really digging the new camera setup, a lot more "real" than the phone video before!
All those places where you have to backtrack a bit are called the very best learning experiences. You'll always own that knowledge moving forward. Embrace the process and keep up the good work!
you make everything look so easy
yeeeeeeeesss finaly a new video of the mustang
I must be really old Vtuned saying a 40 series is a really tall tyre! I’m old enough to remember when a 60 series was considered LOW profile😂😂
I bought a 65 Fastback with 60 series on gold craigers long time ago
Ya and 50 series was crazy!
Mike Mocon for sure I had a Datsun 240Z in 1988 (a long time before Vtuned was born!) fitted with 15” Enkei rally car wheels shod with 225/50/15 Fuldas and Yokohamas and that seemed the craziest widest low profile set up on earth!
Glad to see you back on this project. We know you are busy. Thanks.
Nice fabrication, I wish I had some of your skill.
I remember watching this when I ditched school and it still going
I agree with the idea of using some type of hand protection or gloves. Looks like it would be easier on you. I really enjoy the videos. Always amazed at the frame pulls.
Bummer, loved watching you build that sub frame and engine mounts.
My wheel suggestion would be the American Racing wheel "VN427 SHELBY COBRA" Great looking wheel for a Mustang.
Really love all of your videos! Too bad you dont have spare time to work on this project! It's amazingly entertaining watching you figure all the problems and how to build it from scratch!
Good job focusing on the solution instead of the problem.
We don't learn from success my dude, we learn from failure, very humble guy for admitting failure. Keep on keeping on bruv. You're killing it.
The mustang is coming out amazing v tune keep up the hard work can't wait to see what's next god bless to you and the family
Awesome thanks guys!!
I just love the "tooken" apart thingy 😂😂
*Wallered* (slang, US, pejorative) To wallow, as in to lay around lazily.
I just watched Tooken 3 on netflix. It's about Liam Neeson trying to get his Shelby back after he accidentally referred to it as Eleanor.
Nice fabrication , enjoying your process and solving, wire spoke wheels with gt spinners are cool
Hindsight is a beautiful thing.....
Keep up the great work.. Custom Build💪🏼
Friggin stoked for this build.
Aww man i'm old, i still think that 40 is a very low profile tire.. lol! Nice work on all of the cars!
Vtune
Mustang is going turn out awesome
Awesome build 👍👍👍👍👍
finally the build is back and congratulations on the big sponsor
You learnt from B is For Build's mistake😂
I don't know what mistake you're talking about but B for Build didn't make the mistake of cutting the body down the middle. He didn't learnt from what they did right.
V tuned didn't called his elenor fyi
@@alshotrodsandratrods8780 B made lot alltime big mistakes him has big idiot many car projects.
@@mattivirta maybe he made some mistakes but for one thing he didn't have to go to UA-cam to learn how to build a subframe and more importantly he didn't literally CUT THE CAR IN HALF. Also the dude plans everything out as best as he can beforehand with his big projects whereas this guy just wings it and is clearly making it up as he goes along
@@boytechnichian well...are we talking about Oscar here? cause hes doing almost everything for B for builds. am having more fun watching vTuned doing that himself alone and from scratch. yeah there is some mistakes here and there. keep in mind he has another project going on top of that + assisting goonsquad on the same time.
never be to hard on yourself when things don't work out. especially when building things from scratch. it's part of the learning curve and part of the process of bettering yourself. it's interesting to see the development and improvements you make with every iteration. working out what works, what could be done better ect it is all part of the building process :)
Vtuned and this Mustang build is the reason I now watch UA-cam rebuilds.. A guy of many talents you are Vtuned.. UK subscriber
Photography is getting better keep going 👌👌
I’m loving the build. I’m an old ‘stang guy and this brings back memories of my teenage years. Keep up the great work!
this looks like one of those projects that you wished you never started
he has skill but this thing should be aborted. I can't wait to see how much filler goes into the roof when they weld the car back together. and the hood and deck lid. not to mention how he is going to pull off a windshield.
@@13christbane don't hate on the guy. This project may look a little daunting to you and me but obviously it's not for him. When pulls it off, he'll amaze us with the next one.
That's what your mom says about you.
@@jeffsymons7084let me tell you something son, you have the luxury of being able to type that out on your computer, tablet, or phone, but I seriously doubt you would have the testicular fortitude to say that to my face. This by definition makes you a keyboard hermaphrodite.
He just needs to learn more car geometry
Keep up the good work! Thank you for sharing the progress and learnings from the build.
Vtune great job on the engine cradle! Won't be long now and we will see that Stang take shape!
Welcome back!!! Greetings from the UK. Love the channel
Lots of love from india 💥💥🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳 and your video are very good best of luck for your Mustang
Getting better and better day by day.
Great work V! Its time to change the blade on the cold cut saw BTW
Bro you are Genius Mechanical Engineer
Yes yes yes, finally back to the Mustang!!!
Coming along pretty good
Very Frustrating when you have to redo something that at the time you thought was well thought out But Redemption is when you are able to figure out and make the necessary corrections. GREAT JOB!
Don't you dare apologize for needing to rework some of the project. Sometimes it's two steps forward and one back. You are extremely talented and how many other people could say they are building their own custom retro mustang. On another note...... You do however need a kick in the pants for using that old cable winch on the engine lift with the frayed cable. You passed them in Harbor Freight when you bought the tubing cutter......$16 bucks. Ha ha! Love the vids! Keep on building.
Learn some great ticks from the Guy on the Channel, the fab forums and the fabrication series
I would be careful when using that "E" word. I hear that is this crazy lady that goes after anyone that remotely uses that "E" word when it comes to Mustangs. Don't want to see all your beautiful work go to waste. She threatened B is for Build and eventually took the car he was working on. Call it the "vEleanor"!!
youth has boundless energy, age has wisdom. Yes, thinking it through would have been good.
Grats on the sponsorship!
Sucks having to redo your work, but great attitude about it
I think smaller rims, say 18s will look more authentic anyway. However the new rim internals are likely going to foul on the modern calipers so I’ll expect you to be taking that into account. Also respect to you for finding a legit sanctioned route to promote Eleanor, it takes a strong person to show a new way forward in business. Live long and prosper young man.
I got to know about this channel through Goonzquad and I must say this vtuned guy is some car monster...I love all his builds and the current Dodge ram build is epic...you guys should check it out....Drop a like for vtuned ...❤❤❤❤💪
Been watching this build out of the gate very interesting, you're going to get it
This is a very ambitious project, especially if you do the fastback conversion you mentioned previously.
Your Hair is always so clean cut I just love your style your Awesome
After this project finished make a vlog channel i would love to see this car daily
Keep up the great work! I'm in the process of building a 1952 bagged Chevy 3100 on a '92 S10 frame.... documenting the build on my channel..... and custom stuff sure does take a long time for sure!
Hurray, Mustang build is back. And rub a "Eleanor" on B4Build face for good measure. Insane.
Don't feel bad about having to break it down. Normally you would do all this is a 3D modeling program (Acad or solid works) where you could go through multiple iterations without cutting any metal. You are doing a great job of visualizing the design in your head. On something this complex when space and tolerances get tight interference is inevitable.
Awesome job
