Cleaning the DIRTIEST TESLA I have ever seen! 🤮 and it HAD the white interior!

- The inside of this car was absolutely disgusting . Filthy dirty with mould in the cup holders, greasy glass, carpets embedded with dirt, green window rubbers and as for the white seats… well they were far from white!
How will it clean up!

How can a person sell a car looking that bad, I wouldn't want to be associated with it! Fantastic job at cleaning and sterilising it. A great result in the end.

I'm not a fan of Tesla in general, but the way the seats cleaned up was impressive.
I don't know how you could leave any car to get this dirty! Let alone a TESLA!!! Good job on cleaning it, you deserve an award! It looked so much better at the end, a very therapeutic watch. 👍
That reminds me: my car is due for a wash in November. Every two years! Consistency is king!
Years ago I worked in a Mercedes dealership valeting cars the worst were estates as they were used as family work horses by some full of dogs and kids for some reason they never cleaned them you could run your finger nails through carpet and come away with almost a dogs worth of fur. Well done for making that car look so fabulous again you can. Lean mine anytime 😊
As a platinum tech’ (numerous certifications and technical/mechanical skills), this video takes me back 20+ years to my entry-level position as a “wash boy” (detailer)…I still, to this day, treat my own cars with the same attention to detail…You never forget your roots…

Yeah, I was thinking the same. My seats have a blue denim stain which is not coming off.
It doesn't really matter if you buy degreasers, shampoos, apc, wash mitts, drying towels and "quick wax" from a reputable car care brand.

@@ronstarm3 Try Autoglym Leather Cleaner, I use it on my white seats and it makes cleaning them very easy.
That car was truly disgusting I’m not sure if I’ve seen a more filthy example. However, it cleaned up very nicely indeed. Well done to the detailer/ detailing team!
Wow! That was grubby! Great detailing job. I'm not sure what it is but I like watching detailing videos. May want to remove the cabin air filters to dry after spraying water around the intake to prevent the musty smell.
Honestly it blows me away seeing cars in this state... I could never drive a car like that not only for the shame I'd feel but I'd be so disgusted I'd be afraid to touch any surface let alone sit in it. This is what 3.5 years old... imagine the house after 20 years.
Amazing work to all involved it shows just how much care and effort you put into your work.
To be honest I don't clean the inside of my car either but it doesn't look like a set out of Fallout like this car does. Nice job cleaning it.
Tesla Tip: Turn on Car Wash Mode - then the charge door won't open while washing. I think it also closes the HVAC intake and prevents soaking of the cabin air filter.

Whoa, that was a WEIRDLY SATISFYING VIDEO! More please! It's like when you're 15 and find your dad's stash of contraband magazines and videos. I think I rewound the seat cleaning section several times alone and reduced the video speed too. Definitely the money shot. Had Gintz only inserted the same background music to what I remember dad's videos were....... LOL Reminiscing :)

When I ordered my model 3 rwd last year I avoided white seats as I have two kids and a wife who works in gardens and the black interior looks great a year on!
How can someone think that is okay to sell a car to you like this? Clearly they have a gross lifestyle. Your hard work demonstrates that Teslas are very durable vehicles and what a fantastic result at the end.

Seats may be white - but the seat stitching - that still dirty black. That will take a lot more effort to try and fix.
You guys need to invest in a Tornador and an air compressor! Tesla carpets take so long to clean without one

One wonders why the previous owner did not pay £30 to have it cleaned at the hand wash places before trade in order to get a better price.
I was wondering if it was a repossession and bought at auction. Possibly owner died even and sold by estate. Makes no sense selling a car in that state deliberately.

My Y is a work van as much as it is my car. I’m a gardener and I use it for towing and hauling plants, mulch, tools, and my grubby self! I get it cleaned (as I’m often too idle to do it myself), about once a month.
Meanwhile my wife, who’s forever bemoaning the cleanliness of our house (which is actually reasonably clean), will never clean her car, leaving it to me to do. But that’s about once a year when it’s her cars turn for a road trip! She moves around in a pigeon targeted 5 Series with tons of crumbs and crap inside. She doesn’t deserve a nice car! However it’s her car, her money, and none of my business! 😂

The pool cars in my work are cleaner inside than this.
Apart from a Vauxhall Astra that has been VOR for some time.
There must be about an inch of mould on the steering wheel on that.
The pool car at my old job was pretty disgusting - someone liked biting their nails and spitting them into the footwell 🤢

A steam cleaner and proper shampoo machine would be a better choice of properly and thoroughly cleaning this interior versus a simple wet vac and some all purpose cleaner. Especially for that nasty cupholder

Impressive clean up, but sorry there's no way I'd buy that car. If the previous owner treated their car like that, the mechanicals of the car will probably have been abused too. Would be nice to get a run down of all the cleaning products used.

Company cars never need cleaning also they can easily carry half a ton of rubble in their boot on a tip run.
Ourr MD used to do random inspections, you would be in big trouble if you did not keep the car clean.
I guess it was a lease car from Arval or similar. I work for big motoring and I just drove a blue performance with white seats not as dirty as this one but it wasn’t cleaned for while.

... who drills car seals/seams like that with pressure washer?? Even with my 120bar pressure washer with that narrow spray can drill holes to soft materials..
It pained me to see the pressure washer going into the vents, the under side of the bonnet and around the boot strut too 😢
Does the stitching on the white seats clean up ok (e.g. with denim dye ground into it)?
It’s likely nylon or something and anything that removes stains off the seat will get it off with a good soaking and brush
