Just realised... what if... season 3. Was a GTU colony in another Galaxy. Having spied what seemed to be a quiet galaxy, at least when viewed from so far away, the GTU sent a colony ship, along with hundreds of warships, to the Galaxy. It was an initial scouting force, and only one countless others sent to every known Galaxy. Unfortunately, what wasn't realised until too late was the huge interference between the milky way and this target galaxy. Their system for inter-galactic travel could not handle it, and all hands were lost, as far as the GTU were aware. This had happened before and although tragic it was noted down, as one of the failures, the galaxy marked as a "No Go Zone". Unbeknownst to the GTU, was that the colony ship, just about survived the journey. With their warships destroyed or missing, their sensors and communication arrays vaporised, and the life support as well as other functions of the ship in dire condition, the colony ship landed on the first world it found. A world already inhabitied. A desperate war for survival was fought between the mostly human colonists and the natives. A war the colonists would win. (Perhaps keeping the encountered species as secondary race) The colonists, their numbers low, their tech and knowledge lost, most of them having orginally been farmers, miners or soldiers, tried to build what they could. Their grandchildren eventually launched rockets, designed new hyperlane drives, and explored space once more. Unfortunately, the other races of colonists did not survive. Their nunbers low at the start of the journey, lowered further, by arrival, and then in the war. Those that survived were too few to maintain a population of their race over the generations. Equally colonists rose to the stars not as the GTU but as a child nation that took their ideals from the GTU but mainly the newest ideals of the GTU not their oldest ones. These poeple, did not fear aliens, but wished to bring them into the fold, as the GTU had once done in their own galaxy. Xenophiles through and through. These people were not wary of adavanced technology as the GTU were, but had a burning desire for it. They knew of the advanced technology their grandparents and great grandparents once had access to and they desired to have it. They desired to be able to find and build their own way back to the GTU. They were truly fanatic materialists. But in space amongst the stars... they would find that they were not the only survivors, as two other star farring empires of humans would rise. One was a Fanatic Xenophobe and Militaristic, Purifier empire. claiming to be the true form of the GTU, truer than even the GTU they left behind. Their arrival in the galaxy has been marked by never ending violence and war. They seek to destroy the other human empires, as they are a mockery to what it means to be Terran. The other group arrived in a system containing 3 extremely rich gaia, worlds, on each they held a colony. They threw away their link to the GTU, believing themselves guided and saved by the Trinity of Goddesses. Fanatic Spiritualists, Authoritarian, Oligarchy, theocracy. They seek to bring everyone into the fold and to bask in the compassion and glory of the Trinity.
Well, the Stellaris Invicta season two has the Antares Confederacy, which mostly matches the description of the lost colony you gave. And there is a connection with the GTU across dimensions in Season 2. So yeah, you mostly called what was to be.
A great one this is! I have some memories of a Mark doing what he pleased while Larissa tried to follow the viewer polls during streaming. Might this have something to do with the story of "Testing the limits and intents of his orders"?
I wonder, when the day comes for the Union to rule the stars, when no foe could ever challenge us, will we be at peace? Will we truly lay down out blades, bring our centuries of anger at ease, or to find ourselves bounded by grudge that will tear us appart? I only hope that when that day comes, we will be strong enough to face our inner hatred. I hope that we will turn to the stars once more not for glory or battle, but for knowledge, curiosity, and wonder. I do not speak out of treason or ill will, I speak only for the future of all citizens, of all Terra. I only hope for peace.
For some reason, I see a GTU propaganda poster of the spirit of Admiral Fox pointing at the Andromeda Galaxy with hundreds of starships flashing behind her towards it. All with the legend: "For Space is Endless, So Too is the Struggle - TERRA INVICTA"

A new Collossus that emerged from Imprisoned Lightning. Divergent, yet equally supreme…

SOMETHING!!! This is AWESOME!!!
A great one this is!
I have some memories of a Mark doing what he pleased while Larissa tried to follow the viewer polls during streaming. Might this have something to do with the story of "Testing the limits and intents of his orders"?
This is a kick off for a new series isnt it..good!
Great done! You've done a great job with this universe of yours and I've thoroughly enjoyed everything you've done with it so far!
This is awesome and inspiring.
You have created an amazing story.
I always get so many goosebumps while watching GTU lore. I love it.
Please keep expanding the GTU universe, it’s based on Stellaris but by its own it’s awesome!
I only hope for peace.
this is bloody beautiful.
I love this series nice one for adding more

So You're Finally Doing Andrew Ryan's Football Team!
@narator
Your speech is getting better. You used to end your sentence with a low tone. Now you dont. Kudos to you. And great vid, as always. Thanks.
Revenge for the Betrayed! For the Hive! Death to the GTU!
So excited to see the 2nd season!
Why does this entire story arc make me tear up hahah
And then they went into the void, met Jim Raynor and helped defeat Amon.
That was such a Great Video guys.
I have missed you GTU. I am glad you are back. Now...who was the best ODST Unit in the GTU?
I want to see a video of Grey, but I wanted to see as a first person narration of its encounters with the GTU
i comment about that and i love see that with point of view of Grey we need episode like that!
For some reason, I see a GTU propaganda poster of the spirit of Admiral Fox pointing at the Andromeda Galaxy with hundreds of starships flashing behind her towards it. All with the legend: "For Space is Endless, So Too is the Struggle - TERRA INVICTA"
There should be a series written based on the Greater Terran Union. I would definitely read it.
