Defeat Zhang Bao. Supply Captain appears near the south-eastern gates at the 20 minute mark of the battle, defeat to cause a Weapon Box to appear in the same location.
Other notes:
Prepare for another marathon battle. Sima Yi is another character who's not suited well for close combat, and we have to deal with enemies pumped up with high stats and morale. Don't be afraid to take a cautious approach with this one, similar to how Zhuge Liang is played, and use Sima Yi's range with his Musou attacks liberally. His Charge 6 is another strong attack too, but his crowd control is weaker than ZGL, so approach melee combat carefully.
Since we are playing as a commander in this battle, you become a magnet for forces that beat their respective starting opponents. The generals seem to be able to get caught by your other troops easily, but the troops seem to aim towards wherever you are, so try not to get overwhelmed if you can.
This is another battle that goes way overboard with the crossbow units. Most troops have at least a couple of crossbow units among them, and I wouldn't be surprised if the gates allowed them to appear as reinforcements too. Try and take them out early to prevent that if you can.
When it comes to the 4th weapon conditions, Zhang Bao is a generic officer which shouldn't be too bad to deal with, however he starts near two gates, has a high amount of crossbow units and also starts adjacent to Wei Yan, who can be a real dangerous customer in his own right. You do have some support in their starting area, with Sun Li, and Cao Xiu appearing as reinforcements should Sun Li be defeated, so that can keep their forces occupied for a while.
Zhang Yi will start heading towards you once the first catapult attack launches, so try and eliminate the south east generals before then to minimise problems if you can. After that, other troops will head your way once they can, Guan Xing and Wang Ping after Zhang He is defeated at the other catapult, Yan Yan after Zhen Ji and Xu Huang is defeated, and Ma Dai after Xu Zhu is defeated. Also, Jiang Wei is around and will join the throng of troops, so choose which part of the battle you defend wisely. If you can separate troops from their general, as happened in this battle, you may have an easier time. Most of these forces will have near max or maximum morale, so that makes them all pretty dangerous, especially with the huge amount of crossbows among them all. Slow and steady wins the race with this one.
