But that does make it pretty darn heavy. I tried the Kondor Blue solution (kondorblue.com/products/directors-monitor-pro-kit-mkii) and really liked it, but there was still no great place to mount the receiver.
dji is 1500nits and is nearly the same Portkeys 1100. i have both. I suggest to attach CAMVATE Vesa 100mm plate and a Vlock mount to power the monitor and Transmitter with Vmount battery for a long power.
There are some NPF to V-Mount adapters, but they are pretty chunky and clunky. I'm surprised more monitor manufacturers don't use V-Mounts since you can get some pretty tiny 50wh and 98whs now.
I use the Wooden Camera director’s monitor cage with a 7” monitor. It pretty much facilitates everything you need.

Is the color accuracy of your Portkeys HS8 correct? I previously used another Portkeys monitor and the colors were not very accurate.
Very nice. I have a 6" Portkey which I really like.
Yea they make some great monitors. Definitely my favorite in that low to mid-budget range.
Great video. What monitor do you recommend for the bmcc 6k FF? I didn't want to use the BM video assist. Thank you.
I really like Portkeys for mid-budget, so their 5 inch monitors could work great.
Does this monitor produce a sharp image, or is it soft? The portkeys LH7P is soft.
I just got the BM7 for my on camera monitor.
Is there a way to use this with a VMount battery instead?
