thanks for sharing ...The high interior mountains of Montenegro are also absolutely fantastic, Durmitor National park and Tara national park along the Tara river through one of the deepest gorges in the world 1300 meters...and the train trip from Bar Montenegro to Belgrade Serbia is one of the most scenic anywhere overnight( im sure somebody on youtube has a video)
We'll have to look all that up Jim. It all sounds spectacular. Montenegro seems to be a little hidden gem. I wish we had more time to discover more of it. - T
Oh, you're here! Visit Perast and two islands in front of it-Gospa od Škrpjela and Saint George, and visit Skadar lake with many cute monasteries on islands, and visit Budva town and beaches around it, and peninsula saint Stefan and the beaches that surround it, the most beautiful is Queen's beach and Drobni Pijesak and you have many others worth visiting. Don't miss a thing! On King's beach, right next to the Queen's beach, Novak Djoković celebrated his wedding. Enjoy! Montenegro is fairy tale country!!
Look at all the great tips! Thanks so much. We ran out of time so we had to leave after our brief stop in Kotor. But we are already planning to go back someday. It really is a little fairy tale isn't it? - Trevor
Of course it is, and you have to come back and I forgot to mention two more places to visit: Durmitor mountain (it's beautiful, crystal green water in the lake and conifers, wooden cottages, the air, everything, beautiful!!) and Ostrog monastery, it's the most visited orthodox pilgrimage site after Jerusalem and Mount Athos, it's a cave church high in the mountains with the relics of saint Vasilije that attract rivers of people from all religions. Buses and buses of roman-catholics and muslims, beside regular orthodox folks, keep coming every day in search for help and the saint Vasilije keep helping them, many healings are happening, both physical and spiritual. Have a nice adventure! ♥
Thanks. From the little research I have done, the Balkans in general look bloody incredible. how is it with English language either is going out in Kotor, or travelling into the countryside? or do they (widely) speak other languages other than the SerboCroat language?
I loved Kotor and I stayed just around the corner to that grill restaurant. Great food. I've started a blog of my travels at www.globaltreats.net and i've recently done a few vlogs on my youtube channel. I'm using a very cheap camera though so the quality isn't great. Can I ask what video editing software you use? Nice vid. If you check out my stuff, feedback is most welcome. Happy travels when this corona nightmare is over!
How beautiful! The vlog is so clear and I felt like I was there with you! You guys are awesome!
redskinman0 We’re so glad you liked it. We try to keep the filming as smooth / clear as possible so it’s nice when someone notices that. 👍 - Trevor

Need to add Kotor to my list! Those views look amazing.
Christopher James it’s a must see location in our opinion. It’s just a little hard to get to. - T

Oh you're going to have so much fun. It might be the best scenery / landscape we've ever come across - Trevor

They are incredible indeed. English is about the same as anywhere else. Most people can speak it...especially younger folks. - Anna

Is Montenegro safe to travel ... with majority Muslims, is it affected by fundamentalism?
summer Montenegro is Orthodox country. Orthodox is majority in Montenegro, there is maybe around 15% of muslims.
@@mitarkrsmanovic9885 and those muslims are not extremists like ones in middle east
