You guys are life savers !!! I use to work for a tow company in Chicago and I loved helping people sometimes we’d work for 2 days straight no sleep, and our guys never over charged of course this was their livelihoods so the had to charge but never overcharged like several would do during a crisis. Keep up the awesome work and the great videos !!! 👍❤️☃️
I live in Placerville. But I used to live out that way. I loved wheeling up there and getting folks unstuck. GPS has screwed over so many people out that way. lol. You guys have beautiful rigs. We are more rock crawling guys.
They use to have a sign at the bottom by the lake saying “Your GPS is Wrong” closed road. But city slickers would still drive around it and get stuck. They don’t plow Mormon immigrant and the snow is at least 10 feet deep right now.
Looks like my kind of weather. I grew up in Buffalo, NY. I liked this video because you demonstrated how a winch can come in handy. When I was in the Army we did a course with Rod Hall off-road racing school and they showed us all kinds of vehicle recovery techniques. We also did a 1000 miles in our GMV's on the southern border.
This is the stuff I love doing, I live in Colorado and after snow storm love driving around pulling out vehicles. I just wish I had the money for a winch and all that stuff to make it easier, one day I'll afford that stuff and do bigger recoveries
i know that blue jeep license plate gives it away every time he used to come out with our subaru groups all the time he used to have the same one but red a while back
I would have pulled the white truck backwards so you didn't have to pull thru all the snow built up in front of him and you could have done that without closing the road.
They would work on the roads but not when it’s 2-6’ deep. At that point you need larger and wider tires that are aired down low. You have to float and stay on top. But yeah, if it’s just on icy roads studs would help
@@4x4rescue74 See that's interesting here in Europe they say thin tyres like a Fiat Panda 4x4 is the best not wide sports tyres. In the world rally they use thin tyres for snow. I understand tyre pressures low like 5psi like Matt's off road recovery I visited him and Ed

Great video! Looks like you're having way too much fun playing in the snow. Do you air down when driving on snow-covered paved roads and, if so, how low would you recommend on non-bead lock tires?
Guys please do not jerk on a tow straps as it is Dangerous tobe used that way - Buy A Kinetic Tow Rope - 3/4" inch dia or bigger - Line up as straight as you can each time to transfer all the momentum/power.
I absolutely love this! I try and do my best whenever I'm out wheeling to help anyone. Have you guys heard of or checked out the Gambler500? Your guys skills could be wildly useful with them!
Hope you’re not talking about me? I’ve been doing recoveries longer than most. I started my first Facebook rescue group over 10 years ago. Been wheeling and getting stuck since I was knee high.
Love this. This channel can blow up like matts off road recovery. We need a west coast channel!
Helping people is fun!

But any charge more than 0 is a overcharge vs this channel.
Funny, there’s a neighborhood just 2 miles from where you are. Locals have no problem, but the locals have the correct tires and or vehicles. 👍

Incredible… I watch your videos from Argentina…
Awesome job Wes. Y'all had/have your hands full with all that snow mayhem.

Just bought your RHINO kinetic recovery rope a few months back. Will also be using it for roadside rescue as the snow starts to fall here in Indy!

Appreciate it!
Nice recovery
I drive garbage truck for a living and with the tire the company puts on the truck blizzards like that gives me anxiety😂
Looks fun!

I had them tires on my Tahoe! They were hot ass !
When you use your winch, do you just have your transmission in park? Seems like a lot of force for that.
Usually in park or neutral with my foot on the brake and ebrake on. Most of the time I use an anchor so there’s no pressure on the trans
Do your tyres have sipes and studs? And off road tyres. Would non studded Blizzaks work in this weather?

I’ve never had an issues with control arms
Looks like that Tahoe is rear wheel drive only?
He literally says it in the video
You need the rope that matt offroad used !
We make our own ropes…lol
Why is nobody use tier chains?

Great video! Looks like you're having way too much fun playing in the snow. Do you air down when driving on snow-covered paved roads and, if so, how low would you recommend on non-bead lock tires?
We usually air down, depends on the weight of the vehicle and brand of the tire. Most of the time 10-12 is ideal for non bead locks

how do you get paid if you rescue vehicles for free? does the local council or government pay you?
We just do it for fun. After years and years I figured out a way to cover my expenses and still not charge the person.
