Thanks for the video, that was a lot easier than I thought. I ended up not taking the hood off, but I did loosen up the heat shield, and just propped it out of the way, it made it a lot easier. Goofed up and put cables in the wrong holes, so I recommend taking a photo.
Good afternoon 247Parts,thx for da advice on this Throttle Cable,I had mine set in the wrong hole & my Throttle Handle all the way up on a John Deere D140 Motor I'm workin' on & plannin' on sellin' when it's runnin' real good.
I have the John Deer LX178. It has all factory installed parts still on it except the tires which have been replaced in the past. Naturally the oil etc., has been changed as well as the belts. The front tires are 15x6.00-6. I am a duh on measuring knowing what the offset hub as well as the bearing size is. I have been unsuccessful at finding front replacement tires that indicate the tires fit the JD LX178 model. Any recommendations help with this is greatly appreciated.
Mine is a lt 180 automatic my my throttle cable and chocke are separate I have to pull ot the choke to start it then move the throttle upwards with came disconnected where can I buy the parts I need for this please let me know
@@247parts The throttle is stuck and only moves about an 1/8 of an inch, into and out of choke, back to high throttle. I can’t get it to move down to idle. Will disconnect the cable hold down and see if the cable is stuck or the actual throttle mechanism is. And because the throttle is stuck the engine is at max RPM.
@@247parts I unhooked the throttle cable and the carburetor linkage is smooth with full range of motion. The throttle lever had increased range of motion of about 1 & 1/4 inches. Versus original of maybe a 1/4 inch. Readjusted cable hold down not enough range of movement. Still only moves 1/8 inches. Part number on cable is AUC 10968. I’m wondering if it’s the Wrong cable ??? When I search for that cable I get AUC14720 popping up. This mower is a 2018 E100
@@247parts hi. I have a E 130. Not to old. Has the single cable. It’s stuck in high throttle. It will go up a hair into choke. But that’s it. In your opinion, is that most likely the cable? Any help would be appreciated.

Pro tip: wrap a little tape around the choke cable on the engine end. It will make it much easier to tell which cable is which.
Nice tip and thanks for watching!
Excellent
Thank you!

My throttle won’t move up or down either
Do you mean that the speed of the engine won't change?

My throttle wouldn't idle up. Figured out the problem was the cable was stuck and not moving. Some WD-40 and graphite loosened it right up.
I have a John Deer but my hood isn't bothered to the flame
Good deal. Thanks for wathcing!

I believe the American flag needs to be blue on left, while stripes to the right when hanging from a wall

How do you replace throttle control on a 345 John Deere ? T I A
Are we talking about a Z345 or an older tractor style 345?
Your arm is in the way.
Exactly, important parts are not seen
If you only have one cable you don't have a
