In this video titled EU4 Releasables - I Restored GREAT MORAVIA As This HIDDEN GEM I do a playthrough as Nitra after releasing it from Hungary and I try to become a great power in Europa Universalis 4 1.34 Lions of The North. This is the series titled Releasables where I attempt to play every releasable nation in EU4 or Europa Universalis 4. In this video I play as the nation of Nitra in EU4. Dauphin sounds like dolphin, maybe colonize Florida? (Context: Miami Dolphins are Florida's state American football team.)
Maybe expand into the northern Italy once they get out of the HRE? But just getting France to not exist will probably get you on the Great Powers, isn't it?

@@oldamar9994 you're right, Dauphin means dolphin, but it also refers to the prince heir of the French crown. I believe this was his realm by the time he was prince, a bit like the prince of Wales is for the British Crown.

We use kilometres here, not your arbitrary and imprecise barbarian units, which even have to rely on SI (metric) definitions nowadays.

However Slavs, are basically dna eaters, no matter who you put next to Slavs, they will genetically eat them. Same happend to Avars. Nowadays Hungarians are mix of european cultures, but stilll have wee bit magyar dna in them

I'm really surprised you didn't go defensive - morale bonus is really good in the early game and -25% attrition is a HUGE bonus which could help you preserve a lot of manpower. Imo much better than quality in your situation, maybe almost equaly good as quantity
As long as your relations is over 150 and trust is over 60, and burgundy isnt allied to major power, you're almost guaranteed to PU burgundy.
If you had 80 Nitra, you could call a supply pod!

Hey Red I actually have an idea for you Lusatia / Sorbian Game - based off of my own ongoing (and succeeded) game.
To culturally convert all the Czech (Bonus if you do all of Silesian) provinces into Sorbian provinces.
I went a little overboard in my game and did most of the lowlands, northern France and Thrace
Could you add new challenges to releasables beside becoming a great power a destroying your overlord? Like A to Z.

I play nitra today. Now is easy country (monument in nitra and pest is so easy to have) Income is hilarious, army is so strong, the hardest is start and waiting for support for independence

Makes defending territory harder. Leaves you with partial states. Those would be the worst parts of it to me.

Orthodox great Moravia is beautiful and kind of historical (they were Orthodox until Orthodoxy, Orthodox priests and missionaries are forced out of the country and German/Hre missionaries took over)

I'm not positive in this but I think you just have to be under 200 dev to join the HRE. I know as Austria I couldn't invite vassals over 200 dev to join so I'm assuming that's the limit to join as well but I could be wrong.

I always have a hard time justifying personally doing things like this. You spend the first hundred years just to end up a little bigger than how your overlord starts. Might as well just play your overlord at that point.
