@@sideshowjunkie No, I suggest you look on Facebook market place. There’s also a forum or group that is mainly about selling GTO’s. I would ask for 12k. Is it an a4 or m6?
I live in Argentina but my dream is to go live in the United States and buy this car, I love it. I hope I can make my dream come true, and speak perfect English. God bless America and every American. Huge hug to everyone from Argentina
Holden is a Australian company but owned by GM since 1931. Holden did not do anything GM didn't approve from their designers, etc..., lets get real here lol. Holden GM did so many V8's because Australians love the V8's and they have alot of open roads in Australia. GM closed Holden because their market was fading in Australia and the GTO, G8 and SS to America did not really help sales. GM just didn't advertise the GTO, G8 or SS in the USA though. It is almost like GM did not want these cars to succeed.
They were better than GM's own lineup. Holden also had an El Camino type car.. that would have killed the American market since there are none like it anymore.. I'm sure there were many disappointed and intelligent people within GM who protested loudly by discontinuing Pontiac.. just when it was getting on top again.
@@therunthroughthrgarden I agree but only if it's not a daily traffic driver. If it is your FUN open roads weekend car then the manual is great. Everyday, in traffic??? the manual is not that fun. lol Power and speed wise I have always felt the auto was faster when it mattered.
If you guys think the manuals are fast in these GTO's you should try the automatics. I've owned both and the automatics are so much faster than the manuals in these GTO's. Heard GM just set them up that way on purpose.
Thanks, I have seen that video in the past. I've owned both. The automatics I owned were faster. Still own a '04. The manuals were super fun on the open roads shifting through the gears but for city driving, daily driving and overall speed stock, IMO the autos win.
@@randomocityvideos The GTO auto's do not ruin the driving experience IMO. They shift great. If anything, they are just faster and feel better. Most just think manuals are faster because they shift at much higher revs during normal driving. Drive a auto, at higher revs, like you would a manual and the auto is much faster.
Not really. I have drove both and owned both. Very little difference between the 5.7 and 6.0. IMO GM under estimated the 5.7''s numbers wise, like they have in the past to hype other years.
I have an '05 with an LS2 and it's significantly faster than the LS1. I raced my friend's Cosmos Purple LS1 with a cam and exhaust and my car stock would still beat his.
@@grabber_blu_angel with those mods yall should have been about dead even. Either your friend couldnt drive or you barely won. Literally 50hp difference between the 2 years. I call bs on your claim
The GTO was just TOO good. The next generation would have surely erased both Camaro and posibly even Corvette. The GTO is basically a Corvette with a real car mounted on it.
I have had a 2005 GTO for 10yrs. 230k miles. Everyday driver still Rocks!
Wow that’s amazing. Do you think 14k $ is good for a 06 gto with 137k miles

Hey do you think $15k is good for a 2004 gt with 96k miles?
I just paid 6500$ for my GTO with 123k miles and built manual transmission

thank you from America, God bless Argentina. Hope your dream will come true.
hope you got the car
I live in America and owning a GTO is my dream too! Good luck to both of us!
Got an 04 Gto now cammed heads it’s awesome
my absolute dreamcar since i was a kid !! sad to see there is no gto available in belgium ....
Import one from Dubai
Import one for England But It's Called The "Vauxhall Monaro VXR"
Import from America should be cheaper to buy and a much easier find.
I can sell you one, from Germany :)
Was originally looking at a C5 LS1 as a fun car, but this is slowly winning my affection. So unique in today’s market!
The 06 have a LS2
@@joelaguilera9157 There was no 06 C5, C5 ran until 2004

Gotta love these gtos! Grea vid can't believe some of them are 10+ years old!
The shifter in the manual has a lot to be desired. The throw is long and imprecise. Other than that, I love mine.
The shifter is very sloppy. But there are many nice replacements out there. Add in some Kooks and a nice Spin tech and it will really sound great!!
Those roads man. Holy helllll
This video made me soo relaxed, man.
Gonna need an updated review of a 2006 6.0 GTO or C6 or even a G8 lol
Loving my 05 more and more...

My neighbor bought one new when they first came out black with black and blue interior we raced the GTO vs my Hotrod

how reliable are the automatic transmissions in these cars?
Eric Harris im trynna buy one i need to know too

Cody Cole check the Midwest.
