Thank you for the comment! I'm glad they are helpful. If there's ever a tutorial you'd like a video on, let me know and I'll see what I can do to put it together.
Hiya… I have a couple of questions, if you don’t mind? I understand what loaded means but I know very little about these types of dice. Could you tell me what they’re used for? And what is RPG? My daughters have said that I should make some D & D dice… is that what these are? Sorry for all the questions… but I’m keen to learn more about them. Much love from Nat. (Brisbane, Australia) ♥️♥️🇦🇺
Absolutely, happy to help! Loaded dice are when something happens in the casting to make the dice favor landing on a certain side. This can be accidental, such as the forming of an off-center void. Or on purpose where denser material is placed in such a way to ensure a favorable roll. Ideal dice do NOT have that property, and are random in their results. The set of seven dice are commonly used in RPGs (Role Playing Games). These are table-top games like Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder and such where the player takes on the role of a hero usually in a party of adventurers. There are lots of variety, but they typically involve magic and swords in fantasy settings--but can also be steampunk, modern, vampires and werewolves etc. They are as wild as the imagination of the players. If you haven't seen it, I have a video showing how to cast basic dice. ua-cam.com/video/m8ALZCyrZAI/v-deo.htmlsi=ODYgAOBObT4fqvut If you have any further questions don't hesitate to ask.
@@foxysartbox Thank you so much for your quick reply! Now I have a much better understanding it all. I have already watched that video and, I must admit, it looks a little daunting to me! 😂 Although you did advise to make sure you have a quality mould, I might grab one from Amazon to have a play with first! Much love from Nat. ♥️♥️🇦🇺
@@mattersofthehartbynat8815 It is daunting. Dice are one of the tricker items to cast. Practicing with a cheaper cap/squish mold from Amazon is a good idea. I used one to learn on and just knew that all my D20's would have a defect on the 1 side as the mold doesn't fit proper and forms a lip. Otherwise that mold does work for casting.
