I honestly think this is what separates B99 from other SitCom's. They have such real and present issues underlying their show, tackling really controversial topics and bringing everyone together with humor.

Even from early on, she lightweight seemed to be one of the most emotionally charged characters in the show. Which kinda makes perfect sense. I love Rosa

For a comedy that I use whenever I'm feeling down to bring me back up this show has wonderfully small deep parts that bring up eye sweat
Honestly, as much as I adore this show, I actually think it can still use more deep moments like these. Season 5 fixed that issue slightly, let's hope Season 6 fixes it completely.
If you want a TV show that is both as funny as B99, *and* consistently has gut-punching scenes that will make you weep, watch Scrubs. The rooftop picnic, the loss of three, the shame of the nurse, the death of "den mother", the "where do you think we are?", the overnight beer patient... to name just a few (trying to avoid spoilers).

Toughness has nothing to do with stuff like not crying. Not expressing or confronting your emotions is just damaging you and everyone around you. It's also the opposite of toughness its cowardice. When using "toughness" or apathy to hide your feelings instead of dealing with them, you are running from them, you arent confronting them as a tough person would

The entire episode where Rosa was in a dangerous situation and they all just had to stay put and wait, that was a real tearjerker.
Terry's monologue after being racially profiled got me bad
My tear jerker: 1. Holt saying "I am proud of you" to Jake and Jake is little by little seeing a good person in not only holt but also himself
2. Whenever b99 shows romantic/ friend relationship can always become comfortable and wholesome when you try to understand and better yourslef

Damn terry's scene is so relevant
Honestly, Show Me Going (5x20) is one of the best eps of B99 because it shows how much they all cared for each other. But in my opinion the most underrated episode of B99 is Kicks (5x03). And Jakes speech at the end of the ep is one of the best parts of the whole show.

Holt being transferred is the best to me. Characters that don't stutter and repeat themselves breaking to do it is a great way to show subtle emotion and then a usually very monotone and direct holt trying to really play into the robot joke is showing how hard he's trying to not be emotional
Rosa and her dad was really hit me
The episode with Jake's sister was pretty moving too. I wish that had been included in this.
