The fact that the series didn’t need to add any emotional music into the sad scenes and instead just displayed raw and genuine emotion within the characters is just pretty realistic.
That’s why it’s the best show ever

Claire L. Agreed!
It really shows the father daughter relationship that Michael and Erin have. He’s the closest she’s ever had to a father and she’s the closest he’s ever had to a daughter. It’s really touching when you think about it.

Exactly! No over-exaggerated emotion. No screaming or intense crying. It really lived up to the philosophy “this is how the world ends. Not with a bang, but with a whimper.” It displays Jim’s world crashing down, and all he can do is stand there and watch. (That’s just how I interpret it)
I'm here to share a moment everybody
So, when I was a little kid, about 6 yo, I liked watching the Cars movie, over and over again. Years passed, and I never quite got to watch it again. That was, until December 2018, when I was searching through UA-cam, and I came across the Route66 soundtrack with McQueen in the video. Back then, I wanted to pursue a career as a ship captain, and I created a mental map of my past, in order to archive it all and move forward. Things changed, and 2 years later, I've been through a lot, and decided I better pursue my passion, that is study physics, become an engineer, and create a company that will change humanity. I worked a job that payed 20 bucks a day, (mind you, the merchant navy job paid 20 times that), and after reading Elon Musk's biography, decided to invest in Tesla, at June 2019, at 186usd. I bidn't just stop there though, because I turned this long-term investing routine I was in, into a really short- day trading one. After 6 months, in January, I was trading beyond meat stock stock, doubling my money, that is, making 20,000$ in Monday, and then opening trades (buying shares) for a profit of $40k in Tuesday, and so on, and so forth. I remember this one day, January 17th 2020, when I once again listened to 'Real Gone' from Cars, after being through 2 years of personal hard work. It brought me tears of joy, and tears of sadness. Due to the fact that, I realised how short life is, how easy it is to get lost (nobody in my family really loves their job, my grandma committed suicide cause of depression), and how I have created the best I could ever create for myself. After all that you see, still ,I failed to become what I was expected to become. I make some mistakes, that cost me lots of capital. After all this, when I heard @ Life's a Highway, and then heard her and saw her cry, I burst into tears. I truly realised that the only worthy thing, is doing the things that matter and you love. Creating Quantum Gravity it is!
btw, top 3 saddest ones were:
a. Kevin's Chilli drop
b. Creed's 'see ya tomorrow boss'
c. and finally, Michael's that's what she said (it reminds me of how I first got to know this joke, almost 5 years ago)
"Did Darryl touched you?" "WHAT!?"

I never really understood that, but it's an ingenious form of direction because it stabilizes the emotional weight and credibility of the scene. I don't think, even though it would have been touching to watch, that the audience would entirely go for Jim and Dwight hugging it out at that point in the show.
I find this offensive
@@Zoologic21 I agree. I don't know why people are sad because of it, it suits Jim's character to avoid deeply emotional moments, he always does that. I thought it was funny to show how Dwight is really an emotional guy with a tough guy demeanour (and way more emotionally complex than Jim).

I actually cried when michael returned at dwights marriage, ‘that’s what she said’ couldn’t have been said at any better moment
okay, underrated moment:
when Michael say goodbye to Erin and kisses her on her forehead :’)
No Homo yes it is.

*Michael fades away*
"Michaal"
I honestly think what would it be like if then 2 universes collided
😂😂😂
@Ryan Tran i am not sure u know how satire works but ohk.
You mean holly fades away because Michael Scott can’t die
I think the saddest scene was the bird funeral. Michael being the only one sad about his old boss’ death, no one really caring about his sadness. The bird was just representing Ed truck, that’s why Michael took the birds death so serious. Almost everyone didn’t realize why he was so sad about a bird dieing, but Pam noticed, and took it serious by creating a nice box and a good speech, and left Michael happy.
i think Micheal afraid that no one cares about him when he's gone just the way his co-workers reacted to ed truck's death, that's why he took it seriously. And pam was the only one who realized this so she makes a speech that everyone will always love him even when he's gone.
@@hajidahhassanal6256 when pam says "i think this bird wasnt stupid i think this bird wanted to enter our buildigns and spread its happiness with us" she is clearly saying that to michael. that dead bird represents michael and how he feels in that moment, a good person that doesnt know how to express himself and ends up crashing against the ones he wants to connect with

Demnn that scene is so hard to watch

I didn’t know today was “having a breakdown because of the office” day

Neither did I. Its 3:29 am and I'm at my best friends house. She is asleep. I've never finished watching the office. Its the 2nd day of 2020 and I miss 2019. Micheal and Pam’s relationship was so subtle and heartwarming. From Micheal appreciating her behind her back at her school to Pam being the only one who had faith in Micheal when he wanted to start a company.
Michael never failed in emotional support as his character progressed. Even down to when he got upset and knew Sprinkles name immediately. He listened and learned gradually....which is life.
And when he was the only one who went to her art show
Title: Saddest Moments
Me: Probably Michael leaving
Video: Once a year I bring in my famous chili
Me: Oh, no.
They left out a big one. The moment after Michael's jealousy boils over Holly living with AJ, Michael fixes his wrongs, then he leaves the Christmas party not wanting to hurt anyone. Pam notices and follows him into the parking lot where Michael has a full on breakdown.
Usually there's a comedic undertone to Michael's breakdowns, but this one felt the most real since he felt Holly was the one and he was losing her to another man.
Where can I find that? I forgot that moment and I wanna see it again. Do you remember what season it was? Or where I can find it?
@@acekim4750 Season 7, episode 11/12 Classy Christmas
She wasn’t engaged to him, but they were living together.
Agreed. I like the part where Erin gets in front of Holly when she tries to go after him during the classy Christmas. And the whole office looking at Holly, felt the loyalty, and love of the office.
Also the one where Phylice is crying tears of joy because Stanley made her as a bird sculpture
I was hoping it would have the Art Show scene where Michael shows up and buys Pams painting for the office. Not really sad sad but happy sad....and uh. I can't find that scene anywhere on here. Which makes me sad.
It's on the "Most Heartwarming Moments" vid

@@diegoadam9158 OH GOD WHAT THE FUCK
I pretty sure that Jim's and Michael's reactions at the end are genuine. John and Steve took like 19 takes because they just couldn't handle it. It shows how much the cast cared for eachother
That final scene with Jim and Michael seemed more like John Krasinski and Steve Carell saying goodbye to each other. You could see it in their eyes that they were legitimately tearing up.
When Dwight reaches for Jim to embrace him and realizes he wasn’t there anymore it absolutely KILLED me ): I like how it shows Dwight’s scarcely seen vulnerability and how he holds Jim dear to him despite the back and forth pranking that goes on (: great character development, great moment
YESSSS OMG THAT MAKES ME BAWL
The saddest moment in The Office is actually the show ending.
The episode before too, where Jim shows Pam the video of both of them, and Jim's talk with Dwight about Angela. Two of the saddest episodes (besides Goodbye Michael)
Basically you just have to accept that the show ended is the saddest part and just be happy that everyone got what they really wanted in the end
No no its kevin dropping his chilli
Alan Espino maybe if they make a GOOD reboot we can can be even happier with it.
Nahh thw chili part is
