Well, I'm usually single player and because of that, you simply can't put out enough damage, especially on UVHM unless ur on the Cataclysm tree, if ur playing Maya. And cloud kill is absolutely OP, as well as ruin.
In my opinion Kriegs release the beast skill is one of the best skills especially if you specialized him for mainly melee damage to insta kill most enemy’s not including bosses and you get his ability back instantly
Ninjas-Roocks- PR you should try the Cataclysm tree first, then when you’ve reached the bottom of it, start putting points in the Harmony (healer) tree. Cataclysm is amazing for elemental damage.

Bloodsplosion is so much better, you can clear whole areas with one explosive fastball grenade or one-shot Pyro Pete for easy seraph crystal farm. A half decent bloodsplosion chain will easily hit the damage cap of 999 million.
Krieg has a skill, i forgot what its called, but its the final skill in his mania tree. it turns you into a badass if you use buzz axe rampage under a third of your health, refills your health, and then refills you rampage meter when you end the rampage
Maya’s Cloud Kill is #1. Only Tier 3. Every new and veteran player can use it equally well. Fits any strategy. Simple, but powerful. Literally takes no thought to use. Works every time it should. Can’t lose it.
My brother and I got a ton of traction from Redeem the Soul + Res. We had it down to a science. If I went down, he'd revive me, then I'd Res him, which would put him in the right threshold for Release the Beast. We were virtually unstoppable.
Oh shit that sounds amazing. I guess healer and tank is a winning combination everywhere. Do you also use maya's "shoot your allies to heal them" or krieg's "get shot by your allies and get hurt"? Mostly because if you do i wanted to ask what happens when the two interact. Nothing? Healing or damage depending on the sum of the percentages? Maya's overrides krieg's?

For me the best is Zer0's Many Must Fall, since by the time you get it you will already have your dash, so you can just go inviz, dash here and there and kill like 30 foes in a flash, with style.
It depends your build. If you're Legendary Ninja, Death Blossom, Execute, Many Must Fall and Bore are his best skills (Bore cause you see critical hits of the ennemy and you can crit the ennemy when you melee). If you're Sniper, Critical Ascension, Bore and Death Blossom are his best skills etc
Zero's follow through skill is definitely up there, because the bonus speed and damage is really good. Especially the speed, everybody loves having speed in games.
Krieg's unleash the beast skill literally saves you from dying and makes you twice as tough with double melee damage and a 50% damage resistance boost I say go for it it helps also get the thrill of the kill because who doesn't want there overkill damage to come back to you as health
You can effectively snipe with anarchy up to about 90 stacks. Then you discord down a bit and keep going. 90 stacks is over 150% more damage. Hell When I'm building stacks as Gaige, I primarily use a sniper to do so.
Anarchy is broken af. As a pure Gaige player forever, Anarchy is hands down the best skill you can get because despite the accuracy loss for damage, you can just spam a shotgun against an enemy and they’ll die in just a few short moments.
Coming back to this after years, loved part 1 but part 2 didn’t have a field of view slider on switch and it was making me ill. Saw they finally added one. My only other gripe is that I liked the miniature images of the guns in part 1 where u could somewhat tell what parts were there by aiming at it on the ground without reading the specs and all that. Tbf they did add the 3D turntable view tho which is awesome so I’ll get used to it. Very helpful vids thx.
I know it may not be the best, but I love almost all of Krieg's Hellborn tree (except hellfire halitosis), It is just fun to be shooting someone with a good touch, with a flame of the firehawk on, and shooting homing balls of fire from your face
Axtons nukes! Because you can pick up the turrets and get the time saved off the cool down , you can spam them. I pair it with 2x turrets , long bow, and the sticky perk giving me quick high damage explosives anywhere i want them. Then pick one up as fast as possible and toss them out again. Not to mention 2 extra cover points , 2 extra guns in play, and the enemies target the turrets. so if you're in a pinch and need a quick Escape, just drop 2 nukes with coverfire . Its an expensive build because both nukes ans 2x turrets are both last in their trees but you gotta put those points somewhere anyway so its the build i go for.
the thing about redeem the soul is if you combine it with his fight for your life replacement, light the fuse, you can run in, rez a downed team mate, then both run to cover so they can revive you safely
I wanna ask something. Consedering ur using the Community Patch, i think it would be a fun idea to make a sort of "Things u can do with the C.Patch" videos. If u think soo to i would suggest using gaige, and stacking at least 300 anarchy. Than using the flakker ahab combo.(I kill like 30 voracidous in under a hour, without needing to change gear mid shot , its really fun)
I would say gaiges final skill in the bff tree line skill combined with a love thumper or hide of teramorphis is pretty op it makes deathtrap oneshot just about any enemy (besides raid bosses) especialy usefulful going through the raid on digistruct peak as he can do insane damage to scorch (I think) and the assassins
Maya's kinetic reflection is rediculous in mobbing, if you have a perfect antagonist, you are a walking deflector shield. For legendary Grenadier Acton, do or die with a explosive fastball is a instant save. I used to play mostly zero but he is frustrating at high levels, Maya and Axton are well designed characters. Axton without any one op skill remains a very easy character to play.

I think in Maya and in Axton is the corrosive and the double sabre turret. Because in Maya if you phaselock them they just corrode in the phase lock and in Axton it can do many damage than a one turret and I love his teleport turret and Mayas fire skill.
And in Gaiges and Krieg is anarchy and bloodsplosion. Because from Gaige she can shoot barrels with a shotgun so her anarchy gets high and much damage and from Kriegs its like OP because if Kriegs get hit if he have bloodsplosion it just kills people fast so this is my favorite skills.
Able is a very overpowering skill if you also put points into grit. Not only do you get a % of ignoring death but when the grit gives you back half your health you can just injure your enemies to regain more health to restore it again. I found able had been awesome for when I'm running away and the stalkers or skags are attacking me and my health is low. Just turn around and shoot em lol
Release The Beast should've been on this list. Instead of being punished for talking damage, you'll be rewarded with a health refill, a massive bonus to melee damage, and at the end your Buzzaxe Rampage is ready for another go. Also, you'll get all your health back for killing an enemy.
I agree with the list entirely! BL2 is still so lovely to play around and some of the reworked skills are really cool to mess around with still. Farm on!
Hey VinylicPuma, please make a video about leveling to 72. I'm a BL vet but new to BL2 and want to level my Maya to 72 and have some fun. I have watched pretty much all your BL and BL2 videos and liked all of them. You pretty much just have content regarding which character is fun, end game gear, specific gear and the different types of missions. I don't see much regarding the walk to 72, specific to Badass ranks (you have one on how it can be improved though) and how one should level to get the most out of it or to do it fastest. I am currently on 54 and have finished the main story 3 times. I have played all the dlc at least once and pretty much just want to get to 72 and then to farm end game gear. I know from my first few playthroughs (on PS4) that I should save my badass ranks until I know what I'm going for but as I am still quite far from 72, I still don't have a solid idea on what to do. My friends are all 72 and just motivate to grind through the main story until you are close enough to just grind skags in arid nexus. Is it really this simple and grueling? Please show us how YOU managed to grind your characters to 72.
I mean, the choices of skills are great, don't get me wrong, but Krieg's "Bloodbath" skill can deal, and I quote, BUTTLOADS of damage. Not as much as bloodsplosion, but it makes general mobbing like picking off hairs from the ground
Good list! I would nominate Maya's Wrek for an honorable mention. It is only a tier 2 skill, so you get it early, and it boosts fire rate and gun damage while phaselock is active. Add in a cat class mod to boost it to 10/5 and a relic to boost cooldown, and you can boost your damage output considerably.
"To put that in perspective. With 1000% damage bonus, you figure that you fire a gun that normally deals 200 damage, all the sudden it deals 2000 damage." Daym that's a heavy math problem you got there.

Anarchy is good, don’t get me wrong but with that skill tree it decreases your magazine, so the infinity pistol becomes useless, like literally without use
Unpopular opinion having a Maya and Krieg with Res and Release the Beast, Redeem the Soul and Light the Fuse (Not needed but helps) is insanely fun and good but not great. You can constantly pop in and out of Being alive and down for only a few seconds each time while being able to Release the Beast quite often. It was an old combo I did and it felt quite good to me obviously not the best or anything like that but still.
I'm just here to comment for the lols that is definitely a great skill I personally feel like gaiges interspersed outburst also goes massively undercooked it's such a great skill for its absurd damage boost especially if you have a class mode to increase it not to mention its chance to slay enemies is super useful and the skill is great for anyone who likes playing with a duck and cover strategy
You can money shot all you want but if the enemy one shots your Sal you're done for. I'm putting Grit on number 1, it single handedly makes Axton viable and allows him to do stuff much stronger VHs can do for basically free. Grit sitting on number 9 is straight up blasphemy.

Grit is beatiful. I once went for something like 10 minutes griting every hit. I am a lucky man.

Well usually use the Maya one, and sometimes the Krieg one. I don't remember if Maya's healing is enough to completely override the friendly fire.

Also krieg can bypass hyperius 's little shield because it doesn't reduce melee damage for some reason 😑

I prefer Preparation for Axton over Grit. You get it sooner and the best class mod for Axton pumps it up nicely.

Really annoys me a bit how the skill works. In my opinion they should rework it so the only way to insta-lose all your stacks is dying.

I mean, the choices of skills are great, don't get me wrong, but Krieg's "Bloodbath" skill can deal, and I quote, BUTTLOADS of damage. Not as much as bloodsplosion, but it makes general mobbing like picking off hairs from the ground

I would nominate Maya's Wrek for an honorable mention. It is only a tier 2 skill, so you get it early, and it boosts fire rate and gun damage while phaselock is active. Add in a cat class mod to boost it to 10/5 and a relic to boost cooldown, and you can boost your damage output considerably.
in my opinion anarchy goes best with gaige's skill that lets her ricochet bullets

Dong Mang depends on what kind of build you have, it can actually be a disadvantage

Anarchy is good, don’t get me wrong but with that skill tree it decreases your magazine, so the infinity pistol becomes useless, like literally without use

Unpopular opinion having a Maya and Krieg with Res and Release the Beast, Redeem the Soul and Light the Fuse (Not needed but helps) is insanely fun and good but not great. You can constantly pop in and out of Being alive and down for only a few seconds each time while being able to Release the Beast quite often. It was an old combo I did and it felt quite good to me obviously not the best or anything like that but still.
No "Explosive Clap" from gaige? It does absurd amounts of damage when first achieved, and scales to your level.
I'm just here to comment for the lols that is definitely a great skill I personally feel like gaiges interspersed outburst also goes massively undercooked it's such a great skill for its absurd damage boost especially if you have a class mode to increase it not to mention its chance to slay enemies is super useful and the skill is great for anyone who likes playing with a duck and cover strategy
You can money shot all you want but if the enemy one shots your Sal you're done for.
I'm putting Grit on number 1, it single handedly makes Axton viable and allows him to do stuff much stronger VHs can do for basically free. Grit sitting on number 9 is straight up blasphemy.

You got the numbers wrong on money shot. It’s 80% p/point. So 400% for 5/5 and 880% for 11/5. Just if anyone was confused.
