If you have a corrosive SMG and a relic that gives around 34% Corrosive damage and a relic that give you 34% Pistol damage, wouldn’t you want the straight damage?
You neglected to add that with the Sheriffs Badge, Krieg also gets a damage buff and throw cooldown on this buzz-axe with it equipped due to the fact that internally, the Buzz-Axe is considered a pistol for some odd reason.

I actually really like the blood of the ancients ok sal when I'm running digi peak, since most people use a Harold and grog anyway, you can get away without using a bone of the ancients so have more pistols ammo is useful because you usual use it faster than it regenerates and health stacking is great for sal
The best relic for Jacobs weapons is Jacobs Allegiance relic. Period. The huge bonuses for accuracy recovery and recoil reduction are much more useful then the 15-20% of additive damage bonus.
I like playing as my Gunzerker with Maggie pistols and I found a great allegiance relic for Jakobs! +61% magazine size and +81% accuracy recovery which is awesome for hip-firing in Gunzerk mode.
What are Relics anyway? Alien technology?, Magic Rocks?, Where do they come from? The vaults maybe?.. No troll i am lagitamidtly curiuse. All the other equipment in the game looks manufactured and has some kinda lore behind it as too how it works but the Relics just kinda show up without any explanation and they look nothing like the other stuff in the game. Is there any canon sources that explain where they came from?
Tom Obrien I like what 2K tried to do with the relic slot in TPS. They made it do something more than just increase action skill damage (BL1) and increase a stat (BL2). They turned it into a movement tool, a damage source, and a stat bonus all at the same time. The oxygen thing might have been kinda annoying, but the other ideas are what I feel to be a step in the right direction. Definitely more to be explored in that area.
I got the handsome Jack collection. Got a bonus for owning all the main games. so I got the vault hunter relic. It gives a small exp boost but it was worth it. You also get some gearbox guns so this is worth it. They are pretty good early on. At least you get some fun glitches.
I had to listen to the one for Moxxi’s Endowment a few times, because I haven’t turned that quest in yet, but I have one. I just got Borderlands 2 about a week ago so it’s not from another play through. I don’t know, maybe the Vault Hunter’s relic made it go from a 0% chance to a .001% chance or something.

No.3 relic: Best relic. I have Launcher damage + FFYL + 2nd wing No.2: we won;t always use pistols in solo etc. No.1: Shielded enemies and robots etc. are HIGHLY resistant to ifire damage (Krieg or not). Plus many MAY not like hellborn skill as compared to MANIAC etc.

what I'm using now with my gaige is a shock bone of the ancients with an ionized cataclysm com and that Smg with double element shock and slag (can't remember the name) eventually I get about 170% bonus shock dmg

Commander Peridot It's a beast on all characters. Sal is already crazy, Axton can fire rate cap it. Zer0 can shit on things with that relic, his one shot one kill skill and an infinity. My favorite relic for sure

the mandatory slag is on ULTIMATE vault hunter or UVHM, NOT TVHM.
