    Adding 4 and subtracting it at the same time is something I have never thought to do. This is amazing! This makes this so much easier

      Well, this is a bit late, but L^-1{5s/(s^2 - 25)} = 5 L^-1{s/(s^2 + (5i)^2)} = 5cos(5it) = 5cosh(5t).
      In general, if you have the inverse laplace transform of s/(s^2 - a^2) then it leads to cosh(at), and if it's a/(s^2 - a^2) then it's sinh(at).
