It got flooded during Hurricane Harvey 15 inches of water in my house ruined everything on the ground floor. The engine seized so its taken apart now. No damage to the bike just the engine so I am building a new engine made from ALL NEW PARTS including the head, cylinder, cases, piston, crankshaft every part is NEW from old stock. I will complete it this summer 2020 and post a new video. Thanks for your interest!
Hi im trying to restore one just like this and the piston was stuck inside i had to bang it out regardless i wanted to get a new piston and rings for it. were did you get yours? and did you have to bore out the cylinder? also the person that had it before me tried kick starting it over and over with the motor stuck and broke the kick start any idea were i can get the assembly for it?
@@paulcottodo you have any idea of the code or colour name. I just brought the exact bike, colour to restore but need to re paint the tank and would like to do it original colour. Thank you
The parts came from several vendors on eBay. There are many sellers from Thailand that have original parts. The most common parts like bolts are still sold by Honda.
