I've never been able to get Gold in big run. I got so close with my buddy Jim, but we were 1 egg off, and we played with two randoms.

@@logansteel7281 My limit is EVP 140. I'm not much help, but I know that the snatchers take the same paths back to where they spawned, so those that pass by the basket should help with golden eggs.
@@Kyzekrem My limit is Evp 340. That's the highest I've ever been WITH randoms. You don't need to be certain EVP to be helpful. You're good just the way you are.

i really do hope they extend Big Runs. they don't even have to "make it a big event" per say, they could just start one every three months, right? but it's not likely. Sadly I think Big Run is gonna stay strictly as an event event

I do find it odd that they would keep making large tweaks to stages this late in the game if they weren’t considering another season or two extension. Like they’re not just making minor fixes, they’re being completely removed for some time. It’s just weird to me that they would bother if they were ending the update cycle so soon.
I'm hoping for some more Splatfests, Big Big Runs, and more weapons. Even the Point Sensor Wave Breaker combination. #Splatgangs.
Splat Gang! I think we will be getting a content extension.
Multiple Reasons.
1. The other 18 maps still need a Tricolor Turf War layout (Yes this includes the train station map coming at the start of the upcoming season)
2. Big Run maps have a potential of being added to Private Jobs at the end of Sizzle Season 2024
3. Get Sheldon's Picks that will contain all the weapons types that we have.
4. Big Run trophies could potentially be claimed by exchanging fish scales
5. Nintendo might plan to put Tricolor Turf War as its own game mode outside of Splatfest
6. Shellendorf Institute and Kelp Dome are advertised in the Sizzle Season 2024 trailer.
7. There is still 2 colors left unesed in the Expansion Pass logo.
Basically the Special Splatfest equivalent for Big Run, yeah? I still see them doing more regular Big Runs with new stages then. Sturgeon Shipyard and Flounder Heights both had some data related to Big Run, so we could still see those. We’re probably not getting any more kings though, as that would make the Triumvirate irrelevant. But Big Big Runs are a good alternative to when they can’t introduce something new like a new king, although with a content extension I totally could see them taking back their word on Bonerattle, and add Lost Outpost and Ark Polaris to the game.
While I do want to remain hopeful about a content extension, I don't think we're getting any new salmon run map and I highly doubt it for big run as well.
It's important to remember that just because something was datamined doesn't necessarily mean it'll be added. (just look at the data found for the other salmon run mode and other king salmonoids that have been in the files since launch)
With ark polaris, I am like 99.999 sure it's not gonna return. Bonerattle arena is very clearly meant to be the successor to polaris and with the new bosses in 3 I could see that the devs probably thought the map layout wouldn't work the best.
Considering that nintendo officially confirmed we got the final map, I don't think they'd have any interest going back on that even with an extension unfortunately :/
I did believe that I don’t think Sizzle season 2024 is REALLY the final update.
I really thought Big Run’s would become a default mode after updates end. They could even schedule it like Splatoon 2 Salmon Run which wasn’t available all the time.

What if the reason they revealed both kits for the new Splatana and Stringer as they wanted to get every 2nd kit over with. During the final Drizzle season, maybe they drop every 3rd kit at once.
My question is what is gonna happen to super sea snails because you can only get them in splatfests

If you look out the splatoon 2 amo-knight shop in S 3, you can see some weapons in there, but they all have a more black design, these weapons are the stamper, arospray, sploosh, dynamo, nautilus, bloblobber, and eliter (Hard to tell the eliter though) there is a sticker above the weapons, I could not find the language in Splatoon language, but the sticker looks like it is an advertisement for new weapons like, " new weapons!" there is also a sticker under the sploosh, looks like the same thing, just a different color. This could just be there because Nintendo needed to put something in there, but there was the gold dynamo before it was released, but this could just end up to be nothing, as there is an unused bow in Splatsville's weapon shop above the reef-flux, but the fact they made all these new weapon alts and never use them seems weird, and I'm a stamper main, so I hope this is true, I NEED FIZZY KRAKAN!!!!

I think it’s most likely they will use the previous trophies for big runs as well since it Get trophy, you didn’t get them a trophy. You didn’t get them because you never attended it and I think after all of our abs in a rotation it will do another big big run
What I wish is that they would just automate the Big Runs. There's nothing stopping them from doing that, it's not like Splatfests where there's like a theme and sides to pick and canon competition between teams or anything, each Big Run is basically the same except for the stage it's being played on so surely they could easily automate them to just happen every few months. But it's Nintendo and Nintendo is weird so they won't do that most likely.
