It's interesting to think that he was 69 years old here and still had nearly 31 years of his life left.

"Cancel My Reservation" was Hope's last movie as a leading man, which is ironically appropriate given the title.

Actually BOB HOPE is listed on IMDB as having over 700
separate individual Titled productions in which he acted !

@evasion8 However it does list "Richard Yniquez" as "Motorcyclist" which would be the correct answer.

Oh No? Mr.Hope? Your onscreen wife(played by Ms.Saint)strips to her bra in one scene in"Cancel My Reservation".

It's not a dirty picture. It's not a good picture, either.

@evasion8 I agree. There were only 2 good things about this movie. Eva Marie Saint & Anne Archer.

The On the Road movies were his best. The dialogue between he and Crosby was subtle and just flew under the radar. His own movies were suitable for boy scout meetings. Very predictable and tepid. The scene with the horse...
..really? Falling off was a suprise?
Funny that Carson was shown at the end....Carson hated Hope. Look it up. Cheated on his wife too. Cavett should have pushed that envelope.

Is that a young John Ritter driving the motorcycle?

Never realized how much Bob talks like Dick Chaney.

He used alot of women for his own pleasure... don't like to be negative but people kept quiet about it back then. today's media wouldn't let him get away with it.

There also was lady named Brice Taylor who had accused him of purchasing her for sex trafficking. The book she released was called "Thanks For The Memories". Whether true or not, its a wild read and makes one wonder

Too bad Hope was such a womanizer. His poor wife...
