IC-7610 "Hidden" Feature #1: 3dB Step Attenuator from 0 to 45dB!

  • Jarrad VK3BL demonstrates how to use the 'hidden' super attenuator feature of the IC-7610, rather than just the default 3 steps of 6dB, 12dB & 18dB.
    This feature is very handy when using dual receivers and two antennas; you can use it to set the match the band noise strength on each receiver, allowing signal differences to really stand out!

    Icom do this, I had the same with my 7800 and found it out by accident, so now i always hold buttons in as well as just tapping them, theres probably a lot of guys at there with Icoms not knowing this, another great vid Jad, keep them comming, 73 from Steve, G0OGS.

    the last serious mid-range radio produced by the icom is 756. 7300 poor radio, 7610 we'll see.......

      After acquiring my 7300, I shoved my 756pro3 in the corner and rarely use it any more. The 7300 at less than 1/2 the price is far superior to the 756pro3.
