Holographic Animals at Circus Roncalli - Holograms Replace Live Animals in a german Circus
Вставка
- Опубліковано 2 жов 2019
- Live animals used to be the stars at circus shows - no more at the german Circus Roncalli. They replaced live horses and elephants with holographic animals that are projected in the circus ring. For Circus Roncalli, it's a sign of the times. Tents are no longer set up on meadows but on parking lots and like that the living conditions for circus animals have changed. And so did the show of the long-established German circus. What do you thing about the animal holograms? Write us in the comments...

I love that the director didn't even get into animal abuse. He simply said It makes sense not to have animals if their living conditions are inapropiate and to get with the times
Not to mention, you dont need to feed holographic animal or bring them to a vet.
@@thetaipanking9242 Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus did have a vet on the train.
@@trevorthesorcerer at least they dont need one now.
I've been there once with my grandma 7 years ago or something and there were people protesting against animal cruelty in front of the circus. They couldn't have picked a circus that fits less
Really? I think he should have talked about it openly.
So nice. Would be so cool if circus even goes further with holograms and show fantasy creatures like unicorns, fairies etc. That would be soo magical. Or they could incorporate holograms in their human shows for storytelling.
Sound like a great idea
That's amazing!
Or maybe dragons too!! That'd be so awesome!
I would 100% go to a circus to see a dragon tamer. Especially if that dragon tamer was also a clown.
Because for what you wish for, these holograms are already in our back yards without you even knowing it in many forms
So cool, this cirus is only limited by the human imagination. Circ de Soleil and this together would be amazing!!
At least this is much better than using live animals just to perform.
and much more boring too
i think drones in nature are so high quality and nature movies so good that holding animals caged is pretty much pointless
Dont know if anyone gives a damn but if you are bored like me during the covid times then you can stream all the new movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Been binge watching with my brother these days =)
@Cullen Gus yup, I have been using instaflixxer for since december myself :)
@@danielsteger8456 I think seeing the evolution of technology isn’t boring at all, if they keep up with the newest things, it will stay super interesting.
How are holograms boring, we dreamed of them for decades and now the time has come.
Love it no animal cruelty, no food cost, anything you can put dinasour, whales, etc.. Lovely
You know Circus can be cruelty free with elephant, tigers, horses.

He looked like Albert Einstein lol no hate that’s a cool thing to look like
a woke boomer who supports tech
no hate ?
is albert einstein an insult to you ?
@@acolossalangrybook3169 he wasn't that qt but he was cool which made him look cool
Tbh, this is probably a couple hundred thousands time more sustainable and cheaper than a normal travelling circus with real animals.
And boring
❤️yes this is the kinda circus we like❤️
Not circus that abuse animals
2:23 damn her eyes . The results are soo worth it
This is way better than them using real animals. Good job!🤗👍🏼
I absolutely love this!! They are doin an amazing job!! Keep the wonderful acrobatics, but this just lovely
Very exciting. The idea that "circus" would become obsolete is very sad. The only way to remain relevant and move into the future is through this sort of innovation. Not everyone will be completely satisfied, but it is a compromise, and an opportunity to develop new experiences.
GERMAN SCIENCE IS THE WORLD'S FINEST
Is that a- I’m not even gonna say it because it’s annoying.

Well I think our ideas a great but the cgi in the holograms could be better, but I guess that would cost too much money for now, but I’m really looking forward to what the future will bring, holograms are very interesting nevertheless
This is absolutely amazing ! If they are going to use this kind of technology they should be used for this exact reason! Not for horrible reasons ! They should also bring this idea into all local zoos / safari parks and sea world / sea life centres xx
finally we can play Yu-Gi-Oh with Holograms
This circus: exists
Polka: hold my beer
Amazing! With this kind of tech, the only limit is human imagination. Would love to see all countries abolish the use of animals at circuses and implement this kind of show. Would also love it if governments outlawed owning exotic animals as pets or for roadside shows/petting zoos.
Let's throw in zoos and places like sea world...Let's eliminate all use of real life wild animals for our entertainment
Genius!
Finally, no more animal abuse!
:D
Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus did not abuse there animals they used voice commands.
@@trevorthesorcereryou have no idea what you're talking about
Thank you for making this video it made my day
Amazing work
I wish the cgi of the holograms would be a little bit more realistic and “natural” looking. But I guess that will come in the future, I guess it would be to expensive right now. Otherwise that idea is really great. I love to see what the evolution of technology
Indeed - am sure it will only get more sophisticated!
These are not 'holograms'. Any more than Shrek is holographic
This is amazing , I’d like to see some big cat holograms , that would complete it 👍
Very nice application of hologram technique, hope there are more courage companies using this
Wowwwww! thats great♡ I was expecting for this, I'm so glad that holographic Circus has been invented.....
Thank Germany. Das ist sehr nett von Ihnen
Oh! This is lovely.. truly
Brilliant!
I love this!!
Very good let our animals not face extinction.
so cool!

POLKA ORUKA?!
*POL*
Brilliant idea. Glad I thought of it. 🐘🎪🍿🥤
This is great! The more this technology improves, the cheaper it gets and hopefully can be used in other circuses too. No more animal abuse and torture 🙌 That makes me really glad. They can even recreate dinosaurs and extinct animals such as the mammoth and the prehistoric giant sloth.
Wow das ist einfsch nur beeindruckend und Vorbildlich 👍
I guess you can say it’s an
Amazing digital circus
Hold up this isn't Hologram Circus...
*sighs in Omaru Polka*
I really wanna see this in america
Probably not gonna happen because not enough Americans care about animal rights...
@@MrLOLKAS lol yea
So Beautiful
Bellissimo! ❤🐯 ❤
I feel that if Barnum and Bailey utilized this, they would have stayed in business for many more years.
Need a much higher FPS camera to properly see it if not irl
Ringling Bro’s needs to take some friggen notes.
Its unbelivable that they can do this
This technology should be used to play a children's card game!
Wonderful!! We should never use a real live animal just for our entertainment...and many are abused in the circuses!!! This is beautiful and will hopefully save many animals that have to endure the circus!!
cool now make a godzilla hologram in middle of the city
This is so cool! It's amazing how they use these tricks to make out of the world holograms but I know it's a hologram and I see all these crazy things then it just feels like I'm watching a movie. It kind of takes away the excitement when actual animals aren't doing tricks. Don't get me wrong! I know it IS a good thing the animals aren't in the circus for obvious living conditions and how they treat them! I guess I am selfish for wanting real animals there and not a 3D model. :'(
You're extremely selfish. Why the fuck would you want some big animals that belong in the wild to be stuck into a tiny metal cage and die miserably and being whipped to death
This is a great thing...animals are meant to be in jungles...not juggling on a cycle...i wish some day VR ,AR tech surpasses the limitations..and that we dont need to take kids to zoo..just such prijections and AR wud be enuf!! Animals should be free and where they are meant to be!
you guys know if we support this we will end up having to eat hologram burgers and steaks...we must stop this now..
@@maddoxglow3268’we must stop this now’ 🤣 🤣This is actually a good step in the right direction for circuses.
Wouldn't be surprised if the future ended up like the world of Horizon. Holo-vacations, holo-theme parks, holo everything
They should bring holograms to SeaWorld
The holograms remind me of yu gi oh
The Flying Elephant! 🐘
I hope they spray some animal smell too into the tent. It can be a good alternative for animal acts but for me the smell of camels and horses makes full the experience of circus.
Ebakyza Hay, shit and popcorn
do you really want animal smells?
We will put buckets of shit just for you.
POLKA ORUKA-------
I think we should use hologram technology in all aspects of animals...a hologram zoo for example...hologram sea world! We can experience animals in this way to learn about them
This looks pretty human and futuristic, not gonna lie 😁
Anamatronics would work well too
Gotta tell that is definitely not holograms because it is in 2D
"I think it's good that there are no more animals because it's not right for them. If you want to see live animals you should go to the zoo"
Even then, I dislike zoos. The other day, I witnessed a zookeeper kick a wolf because the wolf was sleeping where the keeper needed to clean
Oh the irony
no if you want to see wild animals you should hope to see one in the wild
Xo_Winter_oX don’t dislike all zoos because some are bad. That’s like disliking all people of one profession or race because some are bad. Zoos have saved many species from extinction, and are continuing to do so. Just some. Others are bad. Some are just adequate. Only matters if the animal gives a shit
@@Baysidemom2 which impacts more animals, their habitat, and on a massive scale. Plus add the danger to human element...nope. not a good idea either.
Now there’s an excuse to have dinosaurs and dragons ‘n’ shit.
Those are not holograms. They are projections on a surface. Holograms use an interference pattern of two beams (an illumination beam and a reference beam) that get superimposed on each other to create the illusion of the object floating in free space. There would be no tangible surface where the object is.
Get a professional pixar animator on this and youl have something amazing
The Circus shall live again! 😁
Its just like watching a really advanced 3D T.V.
Exactly! Your watching TV!
Better than live animals..
Great no more animal abuses 🙏
THIS SHOULD BE A THING IN JEWEL CHANGI
It isn’t about parking lots or green meadows, it is about animals having to perform over and over and over again for humans and live in cages the rest of the time. It doesn’t matter if that cage stands on a green meadow or in a parking lot.
1:10 "The idea is to transport the romantic world of the circus, into the 21'st century"
"The Romantic world of the Circus Industry" !?? That made me bust up laughing out loud. It's not what I'd call romantic. This is still very impressive though.
That's great but they gotta improve the holograms a little more because you could tell its hologram
I mean even if it's a 3D anime character you would know it's 3D anime, and not real life anime. I think this is already a very good start. It's better than using real animals. Not everything needs CGI. The fact that Germans are taking the first step to end cruelty is already a very good initiative. Besides, with holographs, you can create all sorts of animals and with me liking Holographs I think that is absolutely stunning. No animals need to go through torture or exploitation. That's more important
All these possibilities.
They could bring so much. Only limited by the still evolving Technology, creativity and imagination.
They could bring Unicorns, Pegasi, Dragons, HECKING DINOSAURS into the Circus with that.
And the entrance fee ( after Corona time) should be half then.
Thats nice.,
How much depth is in these "holograms"? I feel like it's basically a 360 projection screen, so everything should just be flat.
@3D Printing Professor Check the Company that did the holos at bluebox.de 🐘
We should be using this technology for Yu-Gi-Oh
Okay so far from home vibes anyone?
something about Omaru Polka
😍😍😍
No wonder that Einstein from Germany, they are really smartest .
🤣
Were is this?
The circus tours and can be seen in several cities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland!

O ser humano constrói e destrói coisas belas. Estamos caminhando para o fim. Tecnologia superará a raça humana, poucos sobraram.
👍👏🌟
Ringling Bros need to take count into this and use holograms ans A.I.
I suggest they also put holograms in zoos and also they wouldn't really need people in the circus too I guess as it is a cinematic show ...I do support that animals are better off not been kept in cages and moved around. I also think that the cost of animals is hectic so the circus will be cutting the costs and I guess the animal trainer needs a new act to follow. Just a thought.
It's time to duel baby
Ancient times - animals killed in the arena. A generation ago - animals perform in a circus. Today - holograms. The future? Do animals like performing? Maybe someday we will know.
Scientist looks like Einstein's son or something
❤❤❤
Hastune miku concerts: am i a joke to you!?
No, but do you need hatsune miko in a circus? I think not...
this is a good step for animal welfare. Sure, some circusses might treat them well, sometimes it might even be less circussy if there arent animals. But this is a good and innovative step, they should be praised by everyone.
Yeah, but there is no thrill at the chance seeing a Lion kill it's tamer
W h a t
😂😂😂
No one said anything about not having a virtual lion beheading it's virtual tamer. ;)
Ikr
The guy that made those models for sure made a holographic stripper
Well a lot of people think circus's are bad for animals that should be in the wild. By the way there's a fanficiton set in a zoo based on George Orwell's Animal Farm maybe someone could write a circus version.
These are not holograms, just 2d images projected onto a transparent screen. A hologram is an image in full volume.
holograms are also 2d
@@Fipsh nope, an hologram is an image in full volume, look it up
@@paulpauvert4637 I think you need this:
A hologram is a recording in a two- or three-dimensional medium of the interference pattern formed when a point source of light (the reference beam) of fixed wavelength encounters light of the same fixed wavelength arriving from an object (the object beam).
Key words: two- or three-dimensional medium
@@Fipsh As I understand it, the recording medium can be either 2 or 3 dimensional, but the resulting image is always three-dimensional
Circus Roncalli says no to animal cruelty and yes to technology
No animal cruelty. I really love this concept. ❤

If you wanna see those animals in real life DONT got to a zoo as the woman suggested... The living conditions for the animals there are not natural either. They suffer there too.
