All are displays on LED screens, just like your TV. The 3D effect is called "forced perspective." You are tricked into thinking it has left the screen. In other words, the dragon is not real. It is an animation on screens. There is a tutorial here at YT on how it is done.

These look totally fake. The buildings in the background look cgi. The illusion only works if the cat seems to put its claw out side the cage because the edge has been made to look like the surrounding. The problem with these billboards (haven’t seen one) but you can only see it from one vantage point.
