Hey guys sorry about the overblown footage in most of the video. I must have changed a setting on the gopro without realising so it's quite bad. I was going to just scrap the video but thought some of you might still enjoy it
Have you posted a mod list? I'm curious what's giving it the stustustustu. i've heard that a simple upgraded intake and turbo inlet will do the trick. any info?
Hey mate I haven't posted a mod list as there's not much done yet haha, but yeah did go over what it has in the collection video which was a few uploads before this. It has a stage 1 unitronic ecu tune Unitronic dsg tune Eventuri 4 inch intake Eibach lowering springs Koya 19 inch wheels Maxton splitter kit It's definitely just an intake you'd need and we drove a stock one before buying this one and it made no intake noise or stustustu sounds at all
@@JacksonStrain Hey, thanks for the response! I have a stock '18 RS3 and, as you said, no fun turbo noises. I can hear it spooling up sometimes, but nothing like what's in your video. It's amazing to me that all of that added stustustu is just from an intake. And the turbo inlet is still stock? I'm planning on doing a ecu/dsg stage 1 tune soon and I guess now I will have to put a new intake on the list :D Great video!
Yeah still stock inlet just the eventuri and stage 1 ecu/tcu If you want a really loud intake sound I'd suggest an open pod set up like the JDY or CTS as i heard one recently next to me on a cruise and man was it loud
Hey yep a mic in engine bay and one by the exhaust. I've found it's the closest to capturing my ears hear as with a mic on the camera it doesn't really pick up any of the sounds
When this video was filmed it was eventuri intake, unitronic tune. Have since added more parts and gone "stage 2" which you can see whay has been added in a more recent video
@@JacksonStrain everytime I start getting ready to mod mine something happens. Never even been tuned before. First month of ownership the rear differential exploded and then two weeks someone rear ended me at a red light. Just got it back today though good as new
I just got the same rs3 here in the states but all stock. They really quite good cars when you take care of them. Most common issue people seem to have are the water pumps going very early. Drivetrain components get worn out to especially when it’s tuned and driven harder then normal.
That 5 cyl sound is just insane
Yep it really is
Sounds absolutely mental!
Agreed I love the sound it makes

Thanks for sharing. Sounds crazy! Looking forward to more RS3 content
Still a great video but yeah looks like a bright day haha
Just fix it in post!
Thanks guys
i THINK WE ALL ARE ENJOYING THIS BRO..... its my sound track when i feel down
I can listen to that turbo flutter every single day 🤤😮💨
Haha me too it along with the exhaust sound makes it additive
@@JacksonStrain one of the reasons why I’d buy one just to get it to stage 2 & be on the safe side of not over stressing the clutch/gear box on stock.
@@OBELISK3210 yeah very true and I had the same thought
Beautiful sound
So good right
wow there's some tight sections through there! Sounds sick
@@fil23ralliart yeah it's short but fun and just like Nebo constantly doing roadworks so one day it might be finished and all smooth roads
Bro that sounds so good holy shit
I know right
Hey mate, love the rs3 videos! Can we have a video talking about the reliability, common issues, parts that need replacing, etc? Thanks so much!
Hey mate I'm only new to the RS3 world so I'll have to do some research on them a little more first
@@JacksonStrain Give us a breakdown of the modifications; brand exhaust system, brand BOV, brand intercooler, intake, tuner etc ?
My way to cure stress
Same here
Love it 🔥
Me too haha
The turbo sounds insanely good😍 is that how it sounds from the cabin or do you have a mic in the engine bay 😮
It's maybe a touch quieter in person but it's pretty close.
But yes that's with the engine and exhaust micd up
@@JacksonStrain well i just want to let you know that it sounds amazing and if I ever get an RS3 I would love to have the same mods 😍😍

Do a comparison with the X
Definitely will soon
My stock 2018 8v doesn’t have that turbo whiffle? Sumthin’ different? ❤
It has an Eventuri intake and microphone in the engine bay to better capture the sound
How's the flutter with the twin clutch, I've seen a few twin clutch boxes 'sneeze' on a shift if the flutter was just out of sync with the shift.
@@bagerklestyne not too sure we bought it as is but likely going for a retune soon so I'll ask the tuner about it
Got a link to the steering wheel? Sounds amazing!
No I don't sorry it came on the car when we bought it.
Thanks
What exhaust setup are you running?
When this was filmed it was stock.
Have since added a JDY hatless downpipe and midpipes.
Has the Audi sports exhaust though
Do you have your mic inside the engine bay?
Hey yep a mic in engine bay and one by the exhaust.
