And I'm wondering if the cop ticketed the car driver for changing lanes without proper signaling (in advance, not while you're doing it) and cutting off another vehicle.
@@garfieldsmith332 .. My state has a similar "reckless driving" law. In fact, I just recently barely avoided it, only because the sheriff wrote a lower speed. There's a long, freshly paved, divided four-lane nearby with almost no traffic that just invites speeding. Anyway, as for road rage, my state has other restraints as well. For example, our castle law greatly reduces road rage confrontations.
@@garfieldsmith332 .. Lol. Speeding on that road is fairly safe. In addition to a widely divided country four-lane, there's adjacent wide ditches and then two-lane utility roads on each side with any houses or businesses well beyond that and normally only a vehicle or two every mile or so. Other than the occasional drunk driver or whatever, there hasn't been a major accident in years. And those drunk drivers usually run off the road, not into another. They built the road hoping to attract businesses along it (between this town & a popular recreational area), but, due to geography (a large river, limited bridges, another popular freeway leading to the same area, etc), it's not happening (businesses are spreading in the opposite direction). I'm sure the sheriff, who lives along that road, does a little speeding himself. Take care, Mr Smith. Nice talking to you.
Please try to not road rage. Please don't engage with road rage. Please don't let a mistake become an death sentence. Let's drive like we're all concerned about the welfare of others. PLEASE.
"He made me drive across the double yellow lines into oncoming traffic so that I could block his car, because slowing down in traffic was too much for me" Which one's worse? 🤔
I used to be easily amped up and had more than a few bouts of road rage. I'm not usually that easily aggravated. After crashing my car in a completely unrelated accident I realized that my own outlook on driving is probably what's caused me to be so short tempered. Driving is a privilege, not a right. It's been almost 1 year since I was last angry behind the wheel and I enjoy a peaceful drive wherever I go now. ✌
Moreover, I suspect that many of the indignant drivers conveniently forget the number of times they have committed the same error. Bullies lack self-control and self-awareness. I've seen pedestrians chastising parkers for not seeing them in parking lots only moments after they themselves committed the same mistake.
Years ago, I was driving along in the left lane, going just slightly faster than the traffic in the center lane. I noticed a car in back of me, so I checked to make sure the center lane was clear, signaled the lane change, and moved over. The guy who had been behind me drove up along side, honked his horn and flipped me the bird. Was probably hollaring also, but it was winter so all of our windows were closed. To this day, I wonder what I did wrong.
Because a passing manuever should take no more than 10-15 seconds; if you are sitting in the left lane going slightly faster than the center lane, you are still blocking the left lane, because you're deciding not just you but everyone's speed behind you in the left lane should only be slightly faster than the center lane, no matter the situation, whether there's an emergency, etc. Use left lane only to pass, then get back into the center lane

When I was in junior college my math instructor told us next time we're caught in traffic (maybe starting to feel a little angry at those around us) to imagine some kind of catastrophic event, which isn't out of the realm of possibility. So if that were to happen while stuck in traffic, it would now turn that angry at your neighbor situation into a help your neighbor survive camaraderie. @@JA-mj1zr That got me too xD
Lmao I love how he looks and points at the cammer when the cop shows up, like a kid telling his mom "HE STARTED ITTTT!"
The goal is self control. Feel free to pass this on to your children.
Wonder if they charged the pick up driver with a stunt driving offence. Impound his truck and license for 7 days. Then a minimum 2500 dollar fine. And who knows how much his insurance wold go up. Very stupid, he could have caused a serious accident.
And I'm wondering if the cop ticketed the car driver for changing lanes without proper signaling (in advance, not while you're doing it) and cutting off another vehicle.
@@garfieldsmith332 .. Yeah, in my state, there's a separate charge for road rage, with punishment varying based on what happened.
Over here in edinburg tx I get cut off. Once in while
Please try to not road rage. Please don't engage with road rage. Please don't let a mistake become an death sentence.
Let's drive like we're all concerned about the welfare of others.
PLEASE.
True enough. Anyone can make a mistake.
"Arrest him Officer. It's his fault. He made me change lanes and cut him off."
"Do you see what he's driving? He was asking for it!" XD
"He made me drive across the double yellow lines into oncoming traffic so that I could block his car, because slowing down in traffic was too much for me"
Which one's worse? 🤔
Justice is served. This is so satisfying to watch
So satisfying to see people like that get caught. With all the road rage videos online, there’s just way too many idiots who get away with it.
That was freaking great ‼️ Karma if I ever saw it ‼️🤘👍
People don’t allow some random person’s shortcomings make your life miserable. Let him/her not intrude on your life and your peace.🙏
Frank , excellent advise!
🇮🇪👍
I used to be easily amped up and had more than a few bouts of road rage. I'm not usually that easily aggravated. After crashing my car in a completely unrelated accident I realized that my own outlook on driving is probably what's caused me to be so short tempered. Driving is a privilege, not a right. It's been almost 1 year since I was last angry behind the wheel and I enjoy a peaceful drive wherever I go now. ✌
FACT : Driving is a right that Americans allowed the government to take away 2 generations ago !

@@AllknowingUnknown ............statement coming from an ignorant kid. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Every once in a while there IS a cop around when you need him.
The fact that you are being asked to stay there for questions doesnt make you look totally innocent, two sides of every story .
true, the only thing cant give ticket for being jerk and slow down after switching lanes, and presumably being honked at...
Most road rage incidents are started by a bully. They are emboldened when the see the other as not being able to protect themselves.
Same thing happened to me.
That sudden slow down at 0:13 for no reason tells me cammer might have brake checked the truck. Maybe after the truck got too close because they were mad that cammer cut them off, in the end both are idiots.
totally obvious he slowed down for no apparent reason... both idiots. pickup got instant karma for getting out of line, dashcam will have his eventually for his bloated ego
0:30 Was that a bullet hole at his right taillights?
The audio is outstanding! Crystal clear.
Had a coworker once whose 21 year old son did the same thing that guy in the pickup truck did. She said she saw his dead face, mouth open, every night when she closed her eyes.
This type of instant justice doesn’t happen near often enough.
GLAD HE WAS CAUGHT!!!
As a Canadian I can say with certainty the cop is telling the guy " That wasn't very nice , now you go over there and say you are sorry " lol
Ha! Yeah for sure.
Haha..maybe in your province. In Toronto, the cops can be pretty seriously scary.
@@skyflyer4231 Not to mention the 401 and the 410. Highways to hell.
I can hear a kid saying "he started it" from him as the cop tells him to go back into his car like a teacher would tell a child to go to time out lol.
"Go stand in the time out corner! NOW!!! I'll be back to deal with you in a minute!!! " 😂
Sigh.....this was a thing of freakin' BEAUTY!🤗
The best way to avoid road rage is to never be running late to anything

as others observed, not that he didnt speed up, but he slowed down at 0:13... i may add, his distance from car ahead is different in right lane compared to after cutting off the pickup... not so innocent
Ah the small things in life... Poetic justice is a wonderful thing.
I would have passed by pointing him doing Nelson's "Ha-ha!"
This LEO took immediate control of the situation which is what he is supposed to do and his presence prevented the matter from escalating. I can only hope that the jackass pick up truck driver was taken off in handcuffs.
0:08 I knew from that distance it was a cop, justice been served here.
Ha i just realized he pulled up behind the unmarked cruiser. Good pick up my dude.
Angry Driver: What?
Cop: GET BACK IN YOUR TRUCK NOW!
Angry Driver: HE CUT ME OFF!

I just imagine he must have problems that I don't have.

Damn these old videos are better than watching new videos
"He honked, but I didn't speed up,"
Well you couldnt have because another car pulled in front of you 100 feet ahead anyway, even if you hadnt "cut him off" he would have had to have slowed down for that car ahead of you in the left lane anyway
I had someone cut me off once and a police officer pulled them over for it
They're never around when they need to be. Worse yet is when the cops are doing the same illegal shit that they're supposed to be preventing.
I’m getting both of those a cop on deck, and a cam on dash!
You get a reduced price if you buy the combo package.👍🏻
We need this all the time. There’s no reason for it. Sometimes people make mistakes and we should be polite to each other.
Then we wouldn’t get interesting you tube videos though. It would be all like cat playing with yarn videos.
Some of the smallest things bother people. I loved it when he gets out like a child "but it was him... he started it... aww *cries*"
Human nature is to help our fellow humans in times of trouble.
i like your sentiment, but i don't agree with it. "Human nature is to help our fellow humans in times of trouble." that's what we'd like to believe, but i think that society has shown us that it is getting more and more selfish. people will care only about saving themselves, especially if they really believe their lives are in jeopardy
Bet ya dollars to doughnuts the truck was speeding quite a bit in the first place. I'd love to see the dashcam from the police cruiser.
A Cop appears when needed ! Which fantasy World is this ?
canada
Especially in Richmond Hill!
The guy wanted to fight.
I would have loved to hear the audio with the cop reading that guy the riot act! Hopefully he got a ticket for his bad behavior and an order to got to attend an anger management class. In fact that should be a requirement for all road ragers who get caught.
This has to be the sweetest thing I have ever seen.
I was waiting for someone close to a rotary (traffic circle) one day when squealing tires caught my attention. A pickup was chasing a small car and overtook it in the rotary. The pickup driver cut him off slammed on his brakes and jumped out with that bad ass swagger as he walked back toward the car. Then a giant of a fellow unfolded himself and got out. The truck driver literally ran back to his truck and raced away. It was awesome lol. Took the wind out of his sails real quick.
That officer was really salty with the offender, you could see it in his body language & gestures. lol sucks to be that idiot, but he was completely self-screwed.
It sucks to be anywhere AROUND that idiot. I don't feel one iota sorry for that jerk. Unless it's a real 911 issue for that guy to be somewhere (hospital) super fast, he's using his vehicle as a weapon. And that cop was having none of it 🙂
I like this cop, he's had it with both of you.
Oh. Okay.
Beautiful. Best thing I've seen on UA-cam today.

Ive been to 52 countries and over 200 cities and towns. America does not have the worst traffic but Americans don’t know how to let things go 🍏🫐🍆
Hey ! Can I use your clip in my video with credit and link ? Do you have comment ? What happened before-after this ? Where did this happen ?
I had something similar happen to me recently. Unfortunately, there was no cop around to see it, and I had to lose the road rage driver by cutting down a side street, as he just would not give it up. No I didn't have a dashcam (though now shopping for one), and I was so shocked I didn't think to get a license plate number or try getting my phone out to take a pic or video or call the cops. I just wanted to get away from the nut.
That happened to me a few years ago. The idiot tried to pull out from the curb without looking for traffic first. Then goes around me in the center yellow lane and stops in front of me. More or less did the same thing as you and for the same reason.
"Oh, I'm just headed back to bust up this guy behind me, officer."
I'm taking it when you pulled into the left lane you cut him off, and then you didn't speed up to make up for your mistake that pissed him off?
Love it! That cop wasn't messing around! By the way, this happened in Oregon and NOT in Canada!
Why did the car get into the left lane just to go slower than the right lane?
First time I've seen Richmond Hill on UA-cam lol

unfortunately in Ontario we can't have such things.
That sucks. Best you can do is carry "bear spray" but at least Canadiens are less violent than these assholes in Chicago.
we can have stun batons too I think (they're tasers on a stick)

Dash cam driver most likely cut him off. The road rager made a bad choice but cutting people off is a no no.
Ah the God of Karma smiles upon you today 😁
What everybody is failing the recognize is that the video taper of this video made an extremely dangerous and abrupt Lane change. I'm sure within inches of that trucks bumper. If the driver of the truck has a dashcam I guarantee you the legal outcome of this would have been different. Both parties would have been charged with reckless driving.
There was nothing wrong with the lane change.
But I will say that we can't see what happened behind the car with the camera.
Instant karma!
