For now, here's the soaring Eagle!
Now, heh heh, Eagle can really destroy you if he has good timing with his CO Power and has a bunch of awesome flyers. Eagle with a bunch of fighters and bombers will net you a sweet victory.
Eagle himself is pretty cool. Anyone that is proficient in the air has some of my respect. (Considering that my grandpa was in the U. S. Air Force!) I love raining pain from above...
His theme is...intriguing... When I think about it, his theme doesn't seem to fit him but it's still awesome. But what do I know? I'm sure some people can figure how it fits him, I can't. Either way...

@@Nitosa In one of the earlier missions prior to that in AW1 Andy does know what an airport is and does.
But the best part if the "what's an airpoirt again" line is that the other COs don't even react about it. They just don't care at this point.

Eagles Super Power is Broken as hell
I wouldn't call it broken as hell. It's strong, but compare it to Meteor Strike, Prime Tactics, Victory march or Samurai Spirit. It's strong enough to be a useful Super Power for the price.

The theme really has that feeling of "I'm just too cool" for me. Whenever I think of ego, I think this theme.

same here. I just love his Super CO power so much. Using it while his theme his playing makes you feel like a badass.
AFAIK, his CO Theme starts at 0:20 instead of the beginning
@@fikrijamil3440 his remaster theme starts just like the original but it seems that they have made it so CO themes continue where they left off in the next turn instead of starting over each time, so you must have heard it at the start of the second turn or something in the treehouse demo.
I like to think of his CO power as being useful for going Wild Weasel. Stay out of the range of enemy air defenses while they stay out of your range then pop it after rushing close to rush close again.
I'm so happy I watched one of those history shows yesterday so that I know what wild weasels is :p
Dual Strike Lightning Drive is perfect for that indeed.
Sure, you get some stat penalty, but since the purpose is to make a hit-and-run stunt, it wouldn't matter for the most part.
Lightning Strike is more for flat out beatdowns and stompings instead with air raids.

His power is a reference to a boom and zoom tactic employed by fast fighters in WWII.... He comes in fast attacks without retaliation and use the remaining speed to get away

Im not flight enthusiast but basically thats it...The Boom and Zoom is basically a modus operandi of a lot of airforces during that era.... THey fly high usually in the direction of the sun to blind the enemy and came in Super fast diving and guns blazing... then they used that descent speed to get away

At first I was bored by this theme, but now I think it's chill and even a bit stylish (that scratching huh). I like it.

Sami and Eagle act a couple, in DS version, they have have a affinity of 3 stars (higher as kanbei and sonja)
in Days of Ruin Zadia appear to be a descendant of these 2 casue is red haired and eagle pose and style (except that she is too boobed), but i bet that only is a reference

His super is legit great, but it's painfully slow. His power can be devastating if your opponent is good at stalling and protecting units.
@@whichDude I feel like his power in advance wars 1 was more scary since we faced him in campaign and usually had his power ready in 2 turns. Even though his units were at half attack and defense, still scary because he could just finish off whatever he didn’t destroy before he used his power, or move out of range

eagle is the air ace in the aw series and what coincidence eagle is also a real life bird that attacks many of it's enemies fast and furious in the air making it an air ace

Yeah... Try that in Rivals, and panic as he charges your 2 infantry with a million air units and tanks. Even better in hard mode since you can only hear his giant army moving in.

I beat it... By cheating and putting in a code that gives Super Power every turn.
took me like 70 tries and coming back to it 10 years later with a calmer head to finally conquer it.
Took me some tries but I beat it
It's actually not that difficult at least I think. Don't destroy the anti-air missiles and save the lightning strike for when your about to destroy the minicannons.

Honestly I don't get why people say that level's hard... 1st try I got to the end just fine but screwed up and got 2 bombers and a heli destroyed in 1 turn and lost, 2nd time I won and got B rank. Now the yellow comet factory on the other hand... let's just say sometimes playing as Kanbei feels like using cheat codes... perhaps because I did...
but I've said too much.

The world will be left in ashes after I use all these bombers upon Max's tanks and Sami's troops and. . .whatever Andy has I guess.
Just keep in mind that Max's bonus is to direct-attack units...which includes all aircraft that can attack. Were it not for the defense bonus and reduced daily fuel cost that Eagle's aircraft get, Max would have the stronger air units. (120% vs. 115% in AW2. On that note, it would be 150% vs. 115% in AW1, so even that defense wouldn't help.)
What I hate about him is that hes generally bad but when you fight him the fights are put so heavily in his favor
in the first game the AI is stupid as hell. thell attack any type of transport unit (even ab empty one) before anything else. even if it gets the unit attacking it killed.

I'm just dissapointed Eagle has to use A-10's instead of F-15's for Fighters. (Actual A-10 are not even fighters to begin with.)
You see that's because he's so good he can use them as fighters. He's so skilled he just says "screw the rules" and wins an Air To Air engagement with a ground attack aircraft, Ace Combat style.

1)Airborne Assualt is broken as hell, spawning 9 Hp Mechs in every captured city is busted, especially because cities are generally close to each other, not only that mechs can all be combined for a good boost in cash
2) sensei’s boosts are higher
3) having boosted mechs is huge as it helps you defend captures better and allows for easier captures.
4) Enhanced Bombers Seem nice until you remember a Bomber’s price tag
5) Boosted Mechs and Battle Copters are actually effective against Medium Tanks, if only somewhat
6) Bombers are only really needed against AA as far as that goes, you can just as easily use Med Tanks against those
7) Enhanced Mechs are good defensive units

Eagle uses Super against Waylon's Super. Shoots Waylon with 8 different fighters.
Waylon: "I think a mosquitoe just bit me..." loses 1 Hp.
Overall Eagle is better and more flexible, but Waylon airforce is almost invincible when he Supers. Nothing worse than him diving deep in your territory, and not being able to push him back for a turn.
