I swear I’ve been on the Gates Pass trail, super steep switchbacks in places. At some point we lost the trail towards the top wandered around for a while before turning around. It was up a side spur on the west end of the Catalina’s, that’s where we saw the prickly pear that got decimated by the javelina.
If you're going all the way up on Finger Rock there are some pretty steep flat rocks that you have to walk on very close to a considerable drop off so definitely not for people who are afraid of heights and not great for anytime it could be wet or icy.
Packing my hiking boots for my next trip there! Can’t wait. Great info.
Another awesome one :)
Great beautiful scenery ❤
Another great vid! Thank you! 🌵

Maybe one day I’ll head up. Sounds like an intense hike! 😅
Hiking these rocky trails in a pair of Chucks is wild 👟🤣
I go hard lol 🤠😂
Will have to check them out 🌵😎
The best place to view the sunset is at Gates Pass. The best place for the sunrise is on Mt. Lemmon at Geology Vista point.
Agree. I’ve been at gates pass for sunrise but still have yet to get my butt over for sunset!
