Hello everyone, I am Mauro the luthier of Gaudenzi Guitars
In this video we will get our hands on two Epiphone Casino, iconic models in cherry red made in china and natural made in Korea.
Both guitars need an upgrade and a complete setup: on the cherry red we will replace the tailpiece with a Frequensator for a vintage look and a setup aimed at improving playability.
The natural, on the other hand, will undergo more extensive modifications, with the replacement of the tuning machines, the compromised electronics, the pickups (with new Lollar ones) and the capo, thus improving reliability and sound quality.
During the video, I explore the construction features of both models, comparing the two versions.
The cherry red has retained its soft, velvety sound, while the natural has become a truly high-end instrument, with a refined sound and splendid note separation.

Chitarra stupenda, io ho una coreana 2002, ho cambiato i pickup con degli humbucker retrofit ma anche i P90 originali erano ottimi.
