State of the Art -
I have added 2 new wavesails to my quiver. Id like to take you along in this video l, so you can see how things went in the loft.
I sold a few of my old 5 oceans sails to new happy riders. Soo it was time, to get me funky new ones!
Design:
TanKi 4.4 m2 carbon 390/157/2.5kg red carbon/carbon black
TanKi 5.7 m2 pink polyester/pentex 436/181/2.85kg
For many years ive been on 5-Oceans sails.
Once ive got to try them, i didnt wanted anything else. If you can get your hands on them, you should try the. Its quite an refreshing experience
They feel very extremely light in hands, Many designs and loads of different fabrics too choose from. You can give your input you like to have in A wavesail and sailmaker Matthew will decide if its going to work and puts his magic to it. The sails are handmade by Matthew & Kirsty.
In 2024 my wavesail quiver is like:
2.9 Ankou stormchase 50-60 knots
3.3 Ankou stormchase 40-50 knots
3.7 Fractal 36-44knots
4.1 Fractal 31-38 knots
(2.9-4.1 all fit on rdm340)
4.3 red river supersoft proto 28-33 knots
4.4 TanKi carbon 27-32 knots
4.7 Ankou ‘compact’ 24-28 knots
5.2 TanKi 21-25 knots
5.7 Tanki 18-22 knots
Ofcourse a few sails less would do great aswell haha, but i like to pick the cherry 🍒 at every condition.
